There just aren't enough minutes to go around. I think there's an argument in favor of letting Asllani replace Mkhitaryan at times, opening minutes for Agoume, but we both know that's not happening.

I can see him being sold for 40M in the future. Everywhere he played on loan he was good. Shame that he didnt even get a chance here.

Agoumé got done dirty. He always looked like a solid player, whether playing for us or on loan.

He always displayed crisp and clever passing, had the positional intelligence to find space for himself, had the physicality, played with confidence and a decent shot to boot.

He was criticised by the fans for being too slow, but I don’t think speed is crucial in his position. Hakan also lacks speed, but it hasn’t been an obstacle.

I feel like this kid could have contributed all those times Frattesi and Klaassen failed to impose themselves, or Miki was walking around the pitch totally spent.

Seems absurdly good for a guy who never plays and whose value has never been much to begin with. Financially, that's a ridiculously good sale. Honestly expected we'd let him leave for free or sell him for a 3m pittance. That's the expert salesmanship we usually display.

That said, we all know he's going to shine at Sevilla and eventually get sold to some dipshit EPL side for 50m in two years.

The 10 million surprised me as well, even though I think he's talented. He's played a total of 16 matches in the last 1.5 years so I also figured we'd sell him for a few million at some point.

He played so little last season, cause of an injury, other than that he was one of the better defensive mids in the league. Troyes was also a horrible team, so perhaps it would have been better if he just stayed with Brest, where he was doing great.
Sevilla also has financial problems, so 10M is a lot for them right now. He would have to perform really well for them to buy him.
