it seems that agoume will either be sold or loan in the january window leaving our midfield backup to klassen, sensi, asslani and frattesi (4 player) as backup for 3 midfield position. seems a bit too thin for me. we will need to sign a replacement for him. pity that he only able to play 4 minutes thus far this season.

we are definitely lucky with injuries so far in the midfield this year. but in 21 games, so little opportunities provided. outside of frattesi and asslani who had decent play time, the rest of backup i think might struggle if we suddenly had to use the backup resources. is simone rotating correctly his midfield resources?

The problem is that Sensi will get injured no doubt, then the Klaassen option hasn't shown anything as of yet. Agoume is the forgotten man, kinda surprised he wasn't loan out or sold in August. It's been a long hibernation hopefully he gets a chance somewhere else,, or finally here though that possibility seems remote.

Replacement for Agoume?! He has like 10 min played so far. We don't need any replacement for him.

4 midfielders backup for 3 midfield position seems convincing to you?

we will struggle if there is any injury in the coming months where we start playing every 3 days

just keep this boy until end of season. if he was loaned or sold this window, sign a versatile midfielder or get a free one like soriano or benassi as cover for 6 months

I’d rather see him on the pitch than Klassen honestly. Ideally neither.

Well, this isn't Primavera where you could just throw random youngster to see if he's succeeding or not. Klassen has a lot experience in both club and also International level and he's struggling to get minutes in this Inter. He didn't even play that much because our style depends A LOT on our starters, and we've seen once one or two of them are dropped out, almost entire concept is distorted.

I'd say, ideally Frattesi has to improve on technical aspect and adjust himself in our style of play and we are set. He'd get plenty of minutes and cover a couple of positions in the midfield. And then we have Asllani as direct Hakan replacement. If these two would have been slightly better in term of productivity, then we wouldn't even need to use someone else.

Hakan and Barella have great stamina. They don't need that much rest as Mkhi does. The latter is a work-horse as well but his age makes him prone to fatigue at times.

Sensi is one fragile fuck, otherwise he would be a perfect solution to our midfield once we're taking control of ball possession but we can't unlock matches. At least he hasn't been injured for a few weeks now...

I do wonder if we see Sensi more in some of the next matches. It depends on how much Inzaghi rotates against Bologna - does he take the same approach as the Benfica game? If so, I wonder who's higher in the pecking order at that point - Sensi or Klaassen?

The biggest issue is Inzaghi doesn’t see him as a regista. He has only ever given him minutes as a CM. I don’t really think that’s the best utilization of his skillset from what I’ve seen.

looking at the success with yann bisseck, why won’t inzaghi take a chance on agoume?

is the boy doing so bad in training or have bad attitude?

Probably not seen anything him worth caring about tbh? He's never shown much on loans and if he's not playing well in training...

Playing young players for the sake of it doesn't help anyone. You need to earn it.

He had decent spells at french clubs last two seasons and played as DM. We have Asllani for that role. Maybe Lucien doesn't speak Italian

Also, I doubt Bisseck would have seen this much game time without all the injuries to our defenders.

Our midfielders have stayed mostly healthy so far and we haven't needed to resort to our 7th/8th midfielder.

Exatly. Till Pavard injury Bisseck had played just 8 minutes and there was even a discussion about a loan move. He took advantage of the situation and earned a place in the rotation with his appearances but without injuries he wouldn't have got the opportunity.

I like how we make out like a young player is 0-200 PA without any idea where he lands on the spectrum until they play a bunch of games

Like bisseck played 5500 minutes of pro level football last 2 seasons, agoume 1000 last season 2000 the season before. These guys have been watched extensively before this season, and during this season.

I'm not saying Agoume is bad or a write off, but he's clearly not that useful to Inter yet. We spent 7m kn Bisseck he wasn't some speculative bosman.

If Inzaghi prefers Klaassen and Sensi, both leaving at the end of the season instead of Agoume. This means that the latter is not good enough (for now).
