You can see from his highlights this year he’s improving physically. That’s always been my primary concern with him. Perhaps he will actually get a shot in preseason to be the Gagliardini replacement in the squad. I have my doubts but in a way it would make sense because we want a physical player and he can also play in front of the defense. I feel like we may want that as an insurance policy on Asllani.

I don’t really see any point in loaning him out again so may as well give him a good look this preseason to see if he can take Gagliardini minutes. I also think he potentially counts as club trained since he was “on our books for 3 years before 21.” The law doesn’t say anything about loans. Anyway, could maybe be a “7th” midfielder.

I think, at least for European competitions, being on our books is not enough. He needs to actually be at the club, not on loan.

Wow not notice that this kid had 13 starting matches in League 1 last season. While having spent the beginning of the season with us. And a large part of the matches were ruled out due to harmstring injury.

Pretty decent but not so flashy. Kinda meh for starter at Inter, and better loan him again rather than eat bench for his development.

The problem is our midfield already grade S, even par with City. There is only one option for him, Going to small clubs.
