Since this thread has turned into a debate of who is worse, Zarate or Alvarez, I'll say I thought Zarate played much worse today.

Overall, we were pretty unlucky today. The man of the match (and the story of the match) is all Benassi. Dude played out of his mind. Absent that incredible performance, we win this match easily.

This has NOTHING to do with Motta.. People just don't want to face reality. I've been saying this for the past 4 games. Ranieri is an idiot. He should not have subbed Sneijder, but rather left both Sneijder and Alvarez on. It's clear that Lecce didnt want to go forward, so we should have taken up the chances..

I think that Zarate should have been subbed in earlier, and he should have been playing up front.

I cant belive how stupid Ranieri is, he sees the team try to cross for 90min, but U cant cross where there are 20 players. They should have shot. Fuck we suck!

The scudetto is officially over. Perhaps we should focus just on top 3, and be satisfied if we even make THAT with this play

The other problem we faced is the players we had on our bench. 1 GK , 3 Defenders, 2 Midfielders, and only 1 Striker. I can't find any good reason for fielding three defenders, 2 CENTRE BACKS!! Moratti wake up, WE NEED MORE DEPTH !!!

since Forlan has been nothing but injured and Luc is basically a youth. we have no depth up front

i remember watchin the famous 3-2 win over samp. i beleve at the end we had Martins, Recoba, Adriano and Vieri on the pitch at the same time! cruz was in the team at that point aswell

Zanetti has averaged less than 2 assists in the last 5 seasons.. and he has easily been better than Alvarez.. why? Because he does the things that aren't recorded in statistics.. Do your same stats include the number of lost balls, the number of plays wasted, the constantly poor performances that are simply attributed to stupidness like hes young and new to Italy?

What's the Zanetti point for? Since when did I say ''Alvarez is 8055ing 24/7'' He has bad games. Yep.

the guy is 23 years old and played about 20 games, call him what you want but I think he's been doing pretty fucking well.

Well, that's your opinion. I think, and based on the stats too, that he may not be Maradona (You expected too much of him) but he's productive even in his first season in the toughest league in the world, and you can see in his movements, that he has the class.
