Lautaro was basically not in the game mentally. Everytime the ball came to him he lost it. He’s usually one of our harder working players so I don’t want to call him lazy but that’s really the only way I can describe that display. It looked like maybe he thought he was going to have a night off and then Sanchez got injured early and he just couldn’t be bothered. Right before he got pulled off I said out loud “Is Lautaro even in this game?” Because he just didn’t seem like he wanted to be there imo.

Conte rightfully subbed him off even though he was a substitute, which sparked a heated exchange on the sideline after he came off.

It wasn't even his worst performance and other players have played worse than this, in some critical games in the season without ever getting this treatment. In the team he is one of the players who get the stick more than the carrot despite being one of those who work the hardest.

This was totally undeserved.
