All other teams supported juventus wishes, bcs now they also don't lose income. The only losing side of this situation is Inter.

Beppe Marotta asking the real questions:

"I am also forced to ask myself, why was a new date decided for Juve-Inter before that of Inter-Samp? What criteria was used for that decision?

From Football Italia:
Beppe Marotta slammed the Lega Serie A for the postponement of fixtures including Juventus-Inter. “Playing behind closed doors is no longer an option. The tournament has been distorted and we risk not even concluding the season.”

It had been announced on Thursday that five Serie A fixtures in the areas affected by the Coronavirus outbreak – Juventus-Inter, Milan-Genoa, Udinese-Fiorentina, Sassuolo-Brescia and Parma-SPAL – would be played behind closed doors.

On Saturday morning, the Lega Serie A suddenly confirmed the matches were rescheduled for May 13 instead, in turn changing the date of the Coppa Italia Final to May 20.

La Gazzetta dello Sport openly asked Inter director Marotta if he thought Juventus pressure was behind the decision.

“I am not particularly interested in that, to be honest,” he replied. “I wish to point out that the whole situation was dealt with badly. It should’ve been handled much quicker, also to avoid certain allusions.

“The Lega Serie A decided on Thursday that it’d play behind closed doors, then on Friday Minister for Sport Vincenzo Spadafora advised against it. At that point, the error was made by the President of the Lega Serie A, Paolo Dal Pino, who made a decision without asking anyone.

“What he should’ve done was call an extraordinary meeting to discuss all together what needed to be done, to reach common ground between what the Lega had asked for and the Government’s indications. Instead, we just received notice that this was being done and that was that.

“This is simply not acceptable. This is why Inter asked for and were given an extraordinary meeting of the 20 Lega clubs for Sunday. We want to discuss the future, because what happens from now in is what worries me.

“I am worried for Inter-Sassuolo next Sunday. What do we do then? We cannot play behind closed doors, as it’d be absurd to use that just a week after it was considered unsuitable during a medical emergency. Closed doors is no longer an option, it has been taken off the table.

“Let’s not even talk about postponing the game to Monday, as Inter have already been damaged and paid a heavy price. We’ve got a Europa League game three days later anyway. So it’s either on Sunday with a crowd or I see no other option.”

Inter are particularly troubled, because last week’s game with Sampdoria at San Siro was also cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak and there is no real date for it to be rescheduled.

If the Nerazzurri go all the way in the Coppa Italia and Europa League, it might even have to be played after the Serie A season has concluded.

“The worst mistake was postponing Inter-Sampdoria, because that should’ve been played behind closed doors. It’s a situation nobody likes, but in my view it’s inevitable in these situations.

“I can also say I’d have used the same criteria for all the games this weekend, so potentially postpone the whole round.”

Lazio did play against Bologna and won 2-0, which puts them top of the Serie A table, but Marotta assures the Aquile and their President Claudio Lotito are not to blame for this situation.

“Lotito is very sad that these games were postponed. I can assure you that the decision left many clubs unsatisfied. Atalanta-Lazio is meant to be next weekend, what happens then?”

The Inter director even outlined a potential nightmare scenario, seeing as Euro 2020 is this summer.

“If more games get postponed, then we really do risk not even concluding the Serie A season. The tournament has been distorted. Just think of injuries, suspensions, and even the psychological aspect. It’s not the same for a team to play when one point off their opponents compared to six or eight points away. Motivation is everything.

“I am also forced to ask myself, why was a new date decided for Juve-Inter before that of Inter-Samp? What criteria was used for that decision?

“It makes us think that for the future, the fixture list is too compressed, we’d do well to reduce Serie A from 20 teams to 18 so at least there would be some midweek gaps in case of emergency. We are now in a situation with no way out.”

Marotta hammered them. Painted all the possible futuristic dumb outcomes and went the extra mile to explain and give fault to certain people for them.

And ofc, on the other hand there was Moratti, saying it will be beautiful as a final the last game... Lol

Great words from Marotta. We shouldn't accept any Inter match in the league being played behind closed doors.

Marotta stepped in big time. Now it's their turn to try to justify the mess they've caused and I'm really looking forward to hearing that shit sandwich.

It will probably be post-poned though right?
I mean I wrote in the 1st post that Government said it will be played behind closed doors and you had to jinx it. Happy now?

Agnelli out there putting serious pressure to get the game postponed. Just refund the tickets you monobrowed cuck.
Why am I not surprised?

There we go. Postponed because juve dont wanna miss out on the ticket revenue. Pathetic
It`s dangerous to think only in commercial perspective at this point. It`s not like a loss a company of their statue could not take. It`s about using every tool you have to stop your competitors and prevent them winning.

Send the primavera out for the rest of the league. This is a fucking joke.
This would be drastical and we would be throwing away everything. There must be better ways to fight the corrupt!

I hope Agnelli shows some balls and open doors for their fans despite the closing door rule.
He came out to save his interests. Happy now?

Postponing matches would make a sense only if it looked like we're close to a solution for the situation. But it doesn't look like we're close to a vaccine or a medicine for corona. We don't even know how the virus is transmitted. What are they going to do next week? Or the week after next? etc. Will they postpone matches as well? Or the rule applies only when Juve play at home? Either you play behind closed doors or you suspend the league indefinitely.
This is precisely why post-poning does not make any sense. It just proves a point: juBentus play when they want, with the refs they want.

how can we consider this league a fair and competitive one after today's decision?
I can`t any more.

I feel like stupid to watch this shit-show and swallow it all.

Serie A: 'Inter refused to play on Monday'

Football Italia

Lega Serie A chief Paolo Dal Pino insists Inter “categorically refused” to play Juventus with open doors on Monday. “They should take responsibility and not talk of a distorted league.”

The row over the decision to postpone five Serie A games – including Juventus-Inter – to May 13 has caused huge controversy, as on Thursday it had been announced they would be played behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Inter director Beppe Marotta claimed the Lega Serie A moved to simply reschedule them without informing the clubs, creating a “distorted” fixture list and therefore changing the entire season.

Now Dal Pino has given his version of events to La Gazzetta dello Sport and it is very different to Marotta’s.

“On Friday, the general manager De Siervo and I proposed to Inter the idea of moving the game with Juventus to Monday evening so that it could be played with a crowd present.

“Inter categorically refused to take the field. So they should take responsibility for their decisions and not talk of unsporting situations or a distorted league.”

The lockdown order on three of the six regions affected by the Coronavirus outbreak – Piedmont, Liguria and Friuli – is*due to expire at midnight tonight.

It has been renewed for another week in the areas where there are hundreds more cases than elsewhere – Lombardy (615), Veneto (191) and Emilia-Romagna (217).

From Wednesday, schools are due to reopen in Piedmont, so there could’ve been special dispensation to play with supporters in Turin, but not those travelling from Lombardy – eg Milan.

Fuck this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!11!!!!1

Bullshit, this only proves the amount of shit going down in the back-end, outside football stadiums. JuBentus tried to negotiate playing with their fans, why on earth would we accept it when it has been already announced that the fixture will be played behind closed doors?!

I don`t know about you guys, but I`m in RAGE MODE ever since the mafiosi announced unilateral decision to postpone this derby!!! I mean state Government says it`s OK, matches can be played, then suddenly when juBentus refuse to refund the tickets and put pressure, their friends at Lega Calcio do them a huge favor. If this is not eye-opening enough to prove what is still going behind the scenes, then I don`t know what. I have friends (Inter supporters that pay to fly from Denmark to Italy couple of times a year to watch live games) who now say this was the final drop - they quit following Serie A!

Everything is too obivous to be ignored any more. All those penalties in the league were not enough, they just had to postpone it since it`s in their powers. Not playing a decisive match NOW and playing it in May is EXTREMELY different:

- TIMING: juBentus are in deep shit, not playing decent football at the moment (just look at their recent form). juBentus are coming off a defeat in Europe and morale is not high. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: Their locker room is shit, recordings surfaced from Cristiano and Dybala critizising their own midfield. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: juBentus have several players out (Demiral, Costa) or recovering from injury, many out of form (De Ligt, Rabiot, Chiellini). Since we announced on Friday that Handanovic is going to play, juBentus realized they are not in advantage any more (playing against our reserve keeper), so it`s not OK to play now. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: Sarri is so stupid that he actually exposed what`s going in Italy by saying after Lyon-Juventus 1-0 "If the match would have been played in Italy, we would have received 2 penalties". If you look at the incidents, you can clearly see how blatantly Dybala dived. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: Sarri is so stupid that he openly admits his players are not following him, implying that he needs more time to teach/manage them. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: It`s all about the morale of the players for the rest of the campaign. They were scared we could beat them now and breathe down their neck for the rest of the season with 1 easy game in hand. Why risk having Inter think they can win it? Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: hit them by surprise - postponing Derby d`Italia only 1 day before the actual match was supposed to play. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: "equal" decision - postponing only a couple of matches, not all is least to say suspect. So why not have equal decision for all matches if it`s indeed because of the corona virus? Nah, juBentus have friends in every institution. Why not postpone if possible?
- TIMING: Please note that juBentus - Milan is scheduled to play on Wednesday, after only 3 days after the current "infected" match. Same venue! Will be played with spectators! So you`re telling me Agnelli family knew that corona virus will not pose danger any more?

BTW, can anybody explain why has the date for juBentus - Inter been set BEFORE the initially postponed Inter - Sampdoria? Decision made at the base of which princpiple? ;)

Karma is a bitCh, it will hit them eventually, just like it hit them in the finals against Real Madrid when Benatia fouled in the area and generated a penalty. In his head he made no mistake, because he was used to doing a foul in Italy and not being punished.

I`m sorry guys but I`m too old for this shit to take :) Fuck Serie A and their whole corrupt systems. It`s painfully clear to me that juBentus run the league. You can call this Calciopoli 2 or whatever, but the shit is going on in front of our eyes and I won`t invest time in this any more. It`s just useless to watch a rigged competition where they do everything against a fair competition and values of sportsmanship. This is the reason why I always hated juBentus, but proof of their dark power being exercised is here and we can`t ignore it any more. It would be a miracle if anyone else could win the league this season.
The only consolation I can take with me is seeing juBentus players fail in Europe, where they don`t have their corrupt men in charge (Platini busted, remember?). A digusuise in blessing, because players are used to be gifted penalties and rely on the constant unfair advantage coming in from the refs. But this will prevent them winning Champions League. And when this does not happen, they implode just like vs Lyon. However, Serie A is unfortunately still corrupt and does not deserve my implication on this level. I know what to do with me free time from now on, you`ll do what you want with yours.

What a clown. What would be the difference between playing with fans on Monday instead of Sunday? Does the virus take a break on weekdays and it spreads only during weekend?

Yep, this makes absolutely no sense as a statement. :yao: Why postpone the game by a single day?! I'm guessing it's to please jube of course, just buying time to "change their minds" and try to drag us willingly into this.

Fuck this shit, we need to do everything possible as an organization to bring light and focus on these scums!

From https://www.reddit.com/r/FCInterMilan/comments/fbjujl/curva_nord_at_serie_as_hqs_calciopoli_are_we_back/fj4qy2b/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share:

* I just found it a funny little extra that today, during Lazio - Bologna, Bologna had four players that would have to skip Juve if they got carded. Of those four players, three got their yellow cards, making Juve go against a crippled Bologna, just to be sure. Oh, I'm not calling for conspiracies, just a funny little coincidence.

* Today Liverani, Lecce's coach, said "As usual in Italy some nonsensical decisions are taken without any logic to them, bringing back out the dark side of our football that we tried so hard to clean up"

* The fact that only Piemonte citizens will be able to attend the Coppa Italia semifinal is still ridiculous to me. They literally decided only Juve supporters can attend, basically, making it closed doors to Milan fans only. This is ridiculous, like cartoonishly degrees of evil plans.

* With the current decisions, Lega Calcio is literally hoping Inter won't reach the Coppa Italia finals or Europa League finals. This is unprecedented, and shouldn't be allowed, as the ones organizing the tournament are hoping we'll do bad in a competition. It goes against being impartial.

The decision to play on Monday was definitely to help Juve have their fans present at the stadium but I would’ve preferred to play them on Monday rather than May 13th.

Its collusion. Calciopoli 2.0. Inter will be forced to play every 2-3 days in May so that Juve can assure themselves of another Scudetto. This collusion is not even subtle, its open.

Marotta asked a very pointed question - how come Juve-Inter already has a new date, while Inter-Sampdoria is yet to be finalised? Its fucking obvious who is working with whom.

Don't have one.
Its scary how much influence they have over the league. They don't even have to blatantly cheat like they did during the calciopoli because of their connection with Italian economy. Its like when you see a tree of movie industry and every branch is leading to disney or some other big company...same shit with them...

“The league is distorted at the moment, playing in a month or two is totally different. Playing with teams that haven’t played for two weeks is totally different in respect to those who are playing now.

“There is a lot of money at stake, as you could’ve expected. You've got to do things properly, it’s not the same playing in different moments.” - Gattuso

Napoli have suggested “it would be fairer for all concerned if Juventus-Inter was played on Wednesday, postponing the Coppa Italia semi-finals to May.”
