Well, he could easily step up to the penalty he himself won. This shows how team player he is.

On the other hand at the end of the game he didn't pass to Esteban for an easy tap in. You could see after the wistle Esteban was smiling to Julio about this situation, but still it was kinda selfish.

As much as I love Cruz, I'd have to admit. When he starts the game, if he hasn't scored until the 75th minutes, he's probably not gonna score. Mancini should replace him with another striker. Cruz' strength is like, if he gets the chance, and he shoot. No moment to think (different if he dribbles & run & shoot). Then he'll score. But if he's starts from the beginning, missed a few chances, then he's unlikely to score.

I wish he'll score in the next game...he needs to get back on that track.

It would be great to have some statistics of when he scores in each game. I guess after a period of 60 or 75 mins on the pitch, he wouldn't have scored much irrespective of how many he has scored before that in the game.

Cruz is a killer. His passing has improved immensly, his dribbling likewise, he's scoring goals and his partnership with Ibra is fantastic. Great, underrated player! A sure starter.:star: I pray he'll be fit for Liverpool.

Cruz has played a total of 1365 minutes this season in all competitions and score 14 goals, at a rate of 97mins/Goal. :star: Thats almost a goal/game.

INTER 2009/10 !
He is one of the most constant strikers in Inters history.. Boy, if he is starting, he scores, if he is on bench he scores.. He would probably score if he was on the stands! :) Grande Jardinero!!

Good job in jinxing it. Now he'll probably suffer a broken leg during the game against Udinese.

Let me jinx it more:

1365 minutes played
14 goals
0.923 goals per 90 minutes played

Considering his assists (5 or 6?), this guy contributes, directly or indirectly, more than a goal per full match. Astonishing. :|

Pointless having both those guys. I bet if Cruz would get more playing team he'd have contributed more goals...but since we have Crespo he doesn't get that playing time. Vice-versa for Crespo as well, I bet he'd have a 15 goal season if it wasn't for Cruz (and his injuries).

I say we should get rid of Crespo, and start bringing Balotelli into our squad.

Anyone noticed Cruz's mutatededly grotesque ears? He looks like Chuck Liddell or Randy Couture or something.

He was pretty poor today, I blame it on Han.

Also I dont think Crespo has it in him to score 15 goals in a season. He is still a lethal finisher, so I dont know if we should get rid of him or not. A striking option of Ibra, Cruz, Suazo and Balotelli, looks a little risky.

It's not the first time Cruz misses sitters and it won't be the last. That goes for all of our strikers. Apart from the two chances missed I think he had a good match. He played target really good and as usual combined well with Ibra.

I remember a certain someone who claimed before the season started, that Cruz should be a starter this season based on his goal pr game stats last season.

I also remember that someone being gunned down by several "great" :lala: reply's that "cruz is only good as a sub", from just about every user here.

:howler: I love being right.

My criticism about the players has nothing to with liking them or not. I like the club, not the players in particular, apart from zanetti. I have no personal feelings about the players.

And regarding Jimegol, he has been better than Mariano, ill admit as much. But he has done nothing that makes me think he can be a class AM, he doesnt seem to have the passing ability, the vision or the ability to controll the offensive play in any way. He looks much more like a forward to me as he somewhat has an eye for goal.

Is that a bad quality to have, Azz? No. He isnt any Maradona that we all pretty much agree, but he's played better than expected, waay better than Mariano.
