thats what happens when we fucking loan our best young gks accross italy as if they were a pen.
just let di gennaro find his place in the team, he couldnt have done worse. and there is no way to say it is better for him to be loaned because of experience, he would have also gotten enough chances here to prove himself plus he could have accustomed to the environment.

but instead lets force an old washed up guy to prove himself in situations he just isnt grown into.
seriously dont know if i should be mad at him, because on the one hand he takes over the responsibility, but on the other hand the coachs tells him to play so he surely wont reject...

well he certainly didnt get to play the whole season even if he is in it now, but the fact is that it wouldnt have been 6-7 games, but it would have been 12 games by now, and one in the serie a because handanovic missed one there.
so it would have been 13 games by now, which are on a higher level than serie b, so he can learn much more.

also i suppose that he would have a better gk coach here (i hope we have better personnel than latina calcio), and additionally he already proved himself last year in the serie b where he was one of the best gks around.

he is a great example of a mistake we do over and over with youth.

My sentiments exactly. We are trying to get into the Champions League by winning the UEFA Cup (definitely a long shot). Conceding goals would be detrimental to the stated objective. Ensuring that we don't concede would best be achieved by fielding our first choice keeper. I think there has to come a time when the occasion is equal to the players being started. A quarter-final match in Germany against the second placed in the Bundesliga is such an occasion. Selecting Handanovic at the business end of the competition would have been a better decision.

All 3 were his fault. The first one ok... it was JJ playing with his balls instead of marking, but the ball came right on his hands - should've parried butterfinger. Second ok... mistake. Said even the greats make them, but that still makes it his fault. Third goal, I don't even. Amateur shit. I'd rather see Handa take a set piece goal in lazy mode than retard moves and bad positioning.
