youre right he had some great saves, has to be said. but also in his best games, you could always see how shaky he was when handling the ball.
i would say it was a disaster waiting to happen... and the fact that this disaster has to happen right now is what people (including me) are raging about here...

He should've parried the header away aswell but he is known for having butter fingers. Sure, the defense had a lot of fault in it too but the ball went straight to him.

Those videos are just bits of what he did at River. He was one of the main factors they were relegated.

I don't have a problem with him as back but he ain't any good. I've seen him fail many times.

At first he wasn't so bad at River use to watch them
All the time when Falcao was there. Turkish and Romanian teams were offering 10+ million euro for him then he became shit.

Wasnt he 3rd choice at Lazio when we signed him? And we made him our backup GK few years back we signed Castellazzi who was a starter for Samp to be JC's backup here.

To be fair he has been solid mostly, but Castellazzi was way more secure.

Apperently he was Argentina's GK when they lost 6-1 against Bolivia in 2009. Well I'm just saying, couldnt remember whether he wae to blame for any of the goals, knowing that Argentina side was horrible.

Anyway it seems like he was highly rated back then but probably had lots of mistakes.

What is kind of funny about this situation is that Carrizo is actually good at playing with foot.

That mistake could have happened to every keeper. If you look at the situation where he gets the ball from Vidic there he should have able to do very powerful pass to get the ball to JJ. I don't like passing ball back to GK so often because these things happen when you do it, no matter what. Vidic should have clear the ball by himself because only wise option Carrizo could have made had been the same.

For the other two goals:

First came so close range so I don't blame him for that. Although he could have save it. IMO Inter players had all the time in the world to mark every player in that corner situation and they didn't. Also you can never give a free header like that from corner.

Third goal was Carrizo's fault. Handa would have save it. Thats why Handa should have started and would have made the difference.

These were my faults exactly, a goal like that was a very long time in coming with our unacceptable insistence on passing it at the back when under high pressure. Just so happened it was Carrizo that fell victim in a crucial game.
