I'm a bit worried for next season. Conte works and trains his teams hard, and we have had a very busy two months. Its been intense and hectic, and I am sure the players are exhausted now. Unfortunately there is no break and hardly any pre-season this time, specially for Inter. I fear next season may be another of those seasons where we are top of the table by December and then crash.

I think they need to give minimum of 2 weeks vacation to the players. 2 weeks time to gather together and continue from where we ended the current season.

Maybe the current squad who will remain could have 3 weeks vacation, coach and assistants 2 weeks. Then new players start with coach and assistants after 2 weeks and the core squad returns after 3 weeks.

My bigger concern isn't so much with that as it is with player integration. The players will get holiday time, obviously, once Friday's game passes. Not saying that's enough by itself, but at least it will give them a chance to get away from the mental grind of game preparation for a bit. But that also means that guys like Eriksen, who we've already had trouble integrating into the squad as it is, won't exactly be getting any more reps and familiarity in the meanwhile, either, which probably only compromises him that much more as far as becoming a regular starter next season. And that's for someone who was already with us, let alone any transfer acquisitions who don't have familiarity with the squad and/or manager.

But, at the same time, excuses are, you know, excuses as far as I'm concerned with this. At some point, we actually need to make the leap. Because I'm sure, a year from now, we can find a whole new excuses or ten to make as to why we should have concern for the upcoming season.
