I believe it's a podium for the winners of the last day of the season. So it kinda makes sense.

I still cant believe what I saw last night... am I really the only one who noticed Napoli players were literally walking around in the last 10 mins when they actually needed 1 goal to qualify for CL? It’s not even about them not being good enough but there were zero urgency. Insigne at 85th minute wanted to dribble a player in his own half when he has 3 options.. I cant be the only who noticed this, this is not even choking.

I have a friend who constantly use these examples to say that football matches are rigged, that's why many teams play God-like or quite terrible for the quality they have.

He says for example a team like Barca, even in their worst day cannot lose 3-0 (to Roma) or 4-0 (to Liverpool), or many other examples that we see several inferior teams manage to advance while the better clubs/nations (in quality) underperform for no apparent reason. I don't buy his word that there are huge betting money+politics behind this, but still when you see teams don't even bother to play, it leaves a big question mark as why this happen to many teams on many occasions.

Players are individuals, teams is unique. Some teams just crumble under pressure and Napoli surely was one. They were nervous, they feared to make mistakes. They feared to attack (to leave the defence exposed). That's human. That's not some great betting (or politics, wtf) conspiracy. They didn't have a good game plan to contain Verona's wings so they had huge problems on the wings (specially left wing) in the first half which clearly some kind of paralyzed them. Gattuso didn't do his job properly in that match.

And of course, Insigne the biggest chokers or all chokers, did what he always do. Choked.

Cristiano is not important to their team really. He is actually counter productive. He sucks all the energy towards him and just spams everything with shots. Works well for his personal stats, but he was never a team player.

Juventus is better off without him for a multitude of reasons and I hope he stays.

CR7 is a great player. The only problem was they spent so much on him plus aging core, that they have no money to bring in new blood.

I think this is one of the reasons why Marotta wanted to leave them. He knew they didn't have the budget to handle his insane wages without decimating the rest of the squad.
