Thats my point if messi really wanted to stay as bad as he claimed they would have found a way.....
Imho even after the contract expired they could have gotten some exception if it meant messi would stay in Laliga
I think messi wanted to leave and barca wanted a fresh start and it was convenient to blame some rule on his departure so both the club and messi still look good in the fans eyes.

Btw i m not dissing messi for leaving was his right to do so i just did not like the crying and the liying ti the fans at his farwell....

It seems correct at the first glance. Mario contract was terminated and you see those -6.5m, which are capital loss. The same for Nainggolan. The figure you see at Ranocchia and D'ambrosio are the difference in wages from new contracts (both signed for an year on lower wages).

I don't know if I am correct now, but last year we made something like litlle over 100m losses. With the semi-full stadium this year and better results in CL, we could have a cushion of +100m in our accounts next summer. There is enough firepower to renegciate the bonds and other debt we have.

Last year meaning 19/20 season, books closed in June 2020. We indeed made losses of little over 100m€. Season 20/21, books closed this June (2021), results are not published yet.

19/20 we had stadium revenues at 47m€. This past season (20/21) we had basically 0 € stadium revenues. And I think the salaries went up for the past season, so I can guess our losses might be quite something.

Now this season (21/22) it will look better since we made almost 200m€ on player sales, but it's well over year (maybe in November 2022) before we will get the results of this season.

19/20 results had aobut 55m (IIRC) of deferred income that would have deferred into 20/21 as well, which will help. But, yes, I'd probably guesstimate it'll be like 100-150mil for 20/21.

Not this year but probably in 1 or 2 years. And carefull with you wishes, because it won't be a sugar daddy who will eat at least 50m debt every year. It will be an equity fond a la Oaktree or Bain Capital. And then we will see what "leaving on our possibilities" really means!
