@Adriano@10 Italian law is very specific with sponsorships from these organizations. Let's just say they're not allowed.
So they're "partners" instead. But that used to be capped at a specific value, no clue what's going on here but I fear that this whole marketing gimmick will bite us in the buttocks.
And I begin to understand why the Real Madrid commercial guy left us instantly.

Who's this guy and when did it happen?

If digitalbits is collapsed, Roma would get fucked harder because it’s their main shirt sponsor

yeah nah. There's no way in hell these Zytara shitheads will deposit €85 MILLION euros into our club coffers over the next 4 years. I absolutely refuse to believe that.

As long as they pay upfront, on annual or biannual basis, and we can cut ties the moment they miss a payment. Then I'm good.

Again this is from the digitalbits site:
Zytara will work together with Inter to further develop the Inter mobile app, currently available in the Apple App store and Google Play store, with the goal of integrating Zytara’s digital-first banking technology in an immersive branded purchasing experience. This aims at enabling users globally to subscribe for banking services and seamlessly login to their Zytara account directly from within the Inter App and enable access to crypto-based products. The Inter App will become the primary way to purchase tickets to all Inter home game matches, making the app the entry point to connect for Inter fans globally.

As part of Inter’s commitment to innovation, Inter will also use the DigitalBits blockchain with a view to integrating and accepting XDB cryptocurrency for payments both in stadium and in Inter online stores and physical retail locations across Milan. The partners will also leverage this blockchain to create digital player cards and digital collectibles non-utility tokens (NFTs) for a global audience.

It seems obvious to me that they valued both zytara helping us with the app and us using the digibits blockchain in that 85 mio valuation. Their not paying us 21 mio per season....
Also gazzetta has them listed at 6 mo per season now while gazzetta is not always accurate i guess those 6 mio are a lot more reasonable then 21.
I mean lenovo pays 4 per season for the back would be insane to pay 5x that to be on the fucking sleeve. Matter of fact it would be so off that if anybody was still enforcing FFP they d look into that immediately.

Also i cannot overstate how much I hate it that Inter is fully dependent on this fucken crypto ponzi for the next couple of seasons.

You've misunderstood here. The digitalbits sleeve sponsor is €6m. The partnership with Zytara as a whole is, supposedly, worth €21m to us per season.

Being a newer supporter to the team can someone give me a general breakdown of our financial situation? I know Pirelli was the main sponsor forever; are they still involved? Just curious and cheers gents.

Yeah again thats the partnership but they wont pay us 15mio on top of the 6 mio sleeve sponsorships to be our crypto partner....
That would be even more grossly overpaid......
They simply valued the deal at 85 mio how much of that is cash that is acctualy paid to us is very questionable beyond the 6 mios.
Like whats the most any of our partners pay us that are not on the shirt? I m quite sure it s not 15 mio...... I mean suning is paying 16 per year to be on the training kits and we all know that deal is grossly inflated.
I dont have any prove but i would be stunned if we get a CF of 10 mio per season out of this deal....

:awyeah:

"Inter home matches" and "Inter fans globally" as if it's some mainstream thing for global Inter fans to attend the home matches. Some will, 99% won't attend home matches. :D

Lots of words, a bit less meaning or even sense in them.

But yeah, that 85m€ deal cannot be 85m€ cash over 4 years. Also why the fuck do they need blockchain to purchase tickets? What's wrong with the credit card? Isn't that like making the whole thing more complex if they have some fucking cryptocurrency you should pay with. :D

Watch this sponsorship be based on projected revenue from fan interaction. This and the socios one..

Then we end up with $500,000 total over 5 years

Our owners are the largest shareholders of the Chinese equivalent of Sears.

Very promising comparison.

Let's hope the Pirelli tower doesn't get renamed into Suning tower, or are we just skipping that step?

This is all my opinion brother, Pirelli was a great sponsor due to what they are and no dodgy crap, however they paid us peanuts and it was embarassing for us as a top club, long contract at low money, basically I would say F*** Pirelli for how little they paid us for they years and years they graced our shirts, sponsors should pay so much more to grace our shirts and I do not say it as a fan I say it as a fan of italian football and what Inter brings to Serie A.

Moving onto the new sponsor, Socios.. Now I only know what reddit/discord/fif/a close friend source/websites and have taken what I believe from it, Socios is paying us €30m for 1 season to be on our shirt - people I believe are unhappy as to what they represent and how it looks on our shirt (I personally love the look, I personally couldn't care who they are as long as they bring money in to our club) the new sleeve sponsor etc I have only found out about yesterday and haven't researched anything.

A club like Inter relies on these kinds of sponsorships to make financial gains, we've done absolutely amazing this mercato however this isn't always the case, Inter are the kind of club to get grounded down by high wages to attract a high calibre type of player and most of the time its at the cost of them being to old to get excited about long term, its not always the case though.

Once again everyone has an opinion and make yours brother, my opinion on sponsors is zero fucks given, I just see it as financially helping my club and what grounds my thoughts are that Inter will have the best lawyers in the world and would have done their due dilligence on all sponsorships, if the sponsorships break the law, we remove them from the shirts and move on with our lives.

Hope this helps my friend and you are enjoying the FIF forums.

Appreciate the reply. I tend to agree on as long as the sponsor brings in decent money then I am all for it. Only time I would get frustrated or disappointed in the club is if they pick a controversial sponsor(Can't really think of a hypothetical one off the top of my head but just general) and in my opinion this is not one of those.

Everybody has their own thoughts on the best financial solutions for the club and that is all to the good; I love reading different opinions and getting other people's perspectives. It what makes a forum fun and engaging.

This was very much a help and yes I am very much enjoying my time on FIF so far.

My last question is how do you go about getting the jersey number under your name lol?

The problem with Socios and I think the new sponsor is that people see it as controversial due to crypto currency.

Really glad you are enjoying FIF my friend, its a great place to be with many great (and not so great) minds. And give Brehme a chance, he's a really good dude and knows his stuff I look forward to one day meeting him and feeding him Greggs, if you ask what Greggs is you may get banned from forums, read the rules! :)

Well if you dont use a crypto currency to buy the shit from our app then digitalbits/zytara would not make any money off of it.
It also gives them a good excuse to print their stablecoin out of thin air....
