I can't say I'm surprised by this result but I was surprised by people rating our mercato so highly while I was giving it only 4/10.

Maybe I'm blind but when I look at our mercato, this is what I see:

De Vrij: good player but since we only play with 4 at the back, most probably we are going to start Miranda and Skriniar so pratically De Vrij strengthens our bench but not the starting 11.
Nainngolan: not what he used to be
Politano: mediocre
Keita: a hothead and a ballhug
Vrsaljko: a younger DDA

On the other hand we losttwo first team players in Rafinha and Cancelo. They had a huge impact and I don't see the new signings collectively having a similar impact which means we basically weakend our starting 11.

Buy shit players and expect them to magically become worldclass but when they don't and you don't get the result you wanted. Fire the coach, rinse and repeat.

Our game worse than an A. SANDLER movie?

The complete lack of basic tactical awareness being demonstrated by some of you is incredible. We didn't "lose focus", we spent 45 minutes pressing in the first half and completely ran out of gas. Mazzarri at half time had Torino start pressing high up the pitch, and it was over. Just like against Napoli and the first 45 minutes against Roma last year, the minute teams begin to press us we lose all semblance of a shape and begin playing back-pass roulette with our CBs. Why? Because our useless midfield is non-existent, doesn't drop deep enough to help us retain possession, and in the odd instances when they do they don't have the technical ability necessary to beat their marker.

Spare me the "We played amazing in the first half" narrative too. This team can't score unless they're overloading crosses into the box or taking set pieces.

He should be in terms of u think he should be in our team or u think he's capable of being one?

These are two separate things, and from the general observation is that he is not the best in winning physical duels and tackling for the ball, aggression etc, he's not entirely suited to be a DM.

We can simply just stick him in there and tell him to be a DM at all times, it doesn't mean our defense is protected.

It's an entirely different story if we are just parking the bus. Because then individual characteristics matter less and its more about body count and holding onto one's position, but we shouldn't be parking a bus against the likes of Sassuolo and Torino.

I don’t think he fits this team and what they need. I think he should just stick to being a DM here but off the bench
Or off the bench in general. I mean he is not hurt anymore so that’s not an excuse. He just looked a lot better before he was injured where posters here were saying they missed him. No one is going to say that now.

I don’t even understand why even Uruguay plays him with better options. Since Uruguay is my 2nd country with Italy
out of the WC and the fact they play like Italians a lot of the time.

They need him for depth but not at that price.

But In regards to the defense issue. If you tell him to just concentrate on that I think he would be better off.

I don’t even know where to start.. These guys make Iago looks like he’s Messi ffs.. not surprised that we squandered a 2-0 lead.. I blame no one else but Spalletti. Initially I liked him, but now he Seems like such a pussy and a coward! I don’t wanna here his or anyone else’s excuses; we have gotten 1 point from an “easy” 6.. Why do you play a 3-man defense against fvcking Torino at home? Why?!?! Also Vecino *♂️; such a waste of fvcking space. I understand there’s 36 more games to go; but this performance is nothing short of disgraceful. Really need Nainggolan to drag this midfield forward; Brozovic can’t do it alone. Im not even gonna get into Dalbert; the less said the better!

What you did there is that you just described our signigns in te worst possible way while doing exactly opposite about players we lost(Rafinha and Cancelo). With aproach like that I can describe Real Madrid's 3 consecutive CL titles as nothing spectacular, or say that Croatia was playing shit football on WC and that they just got lucky, or say that Juventus is completly average team with no great players except Ronaldo who is old... You're not blind but you only see what you want to see...

Thanks heaven you are not Inter's mercato manager.
  • De Vrij : We got him for free and we need Miranda replacement whose playing days are already numbered.
  • Nainggolan : he is 30 years old, not 50 years old grandpa. FIF talks a lot about giving chance to Dalbert to shine :)yao:) so I expect we should see him playing before we make our assessment.
  • Politano : Arguably our best player in the first 2 games.
  • Keita : Can't comment yet.
  • Vrsaljko : Younger Dambo who happens to be the starter in Atleti and World Cup finalist.

I am still disappointed with Cancelo's departure, but there is no point lamenting our financial constraint. Furthermore, we utilised the supposed 40 M for Cancelo with good players as well. Maybe calm the shit down, wait for several matches to understand our team better, and not to gone apeshit in the first 2 matches.

So Dalbert officially become our this season Eder + Santon which Spalletti have huge boner over him eventho he gives nothing and we exactly like play with one man down everytime he is on the pitch. I really take back all my support word for him, he just freaking useless and unsaveable, should just ship him before and take anything available on market. Spalletti have a choice to put extra Midfielder or attacker to push Torino back, even subs in Miranda and move D'ambrosio playing on left since him and Vrsaljko not gelling on right side but ofc Spalletti choose the worst option, replacing Asamoah with Dalbert. Now with Asamoah injured, hope Spalletti not dumb enough to play Dalbert like when he give a trust to Santon eventho know what the result just to prove he had trust his own player. And only realized he is wrong after 5 lost cause his stubborness.

Idk what the fuck is up with spallo. They way he carries himself and puts his foot down on press conference and interviews doesn't reflect on the pitch. I don't see the spallo I saw at his roma spells.
The first half was good but he freaking didn't react to fix the team on the second half.

All this wingers won't help us control a game. We need midfielders. We need a brozo replacement, when he's not performing there should a back up. We can see that without nainggolan we are screwed, even more screwed if vecino is playing.

Wtf was that second half performance, Handa's fucking error brought everyone to his kness.

Good signs in the first with Vrsaljko, another poor midfield performance by Brozo and Vecino, does Spalletti hate Gagliardini we so needed his steel in the second half.

Probs ignore the new dude who coincidentally signed up the day we twice consecutively lost points against crap teams we should easily beat, and with his first handful posts repeatedly insists on using Vecino. obviously a milan or juve troll.
