Dear Cro-nerazzurro:
But I said that it's not agood idea to start with M.G. I believe that we should let players like Adriano, Grosso and M.G to improve their shapes by introducing them during the second phases of the 2nd halves. I don't know why, but those who start the matches have more responsibility about the results of the matches and a negative result will put a great pressure on them. Suppose that we hadn't started Adriano in Lisbon from the strat then there wasn't that pressure on him right now.

I agree on Adriano and Grosso but who said Gonzalez is out of form?
He is ready and hungry, just unleash him :)

Grosso and Adriano proved they arent ready, and they need to play last 20 - 30 minutes

We need Gonzalez badly now, some freshness and pace
And I don't expect him to score or asist, we just need his speed and runnings in this match. Something Figo, even Solari can't give us now
Scoring, assisting and leading should be given to Vieira,Ibra and Crespo in this match but for the 3rd time, we need more movements and pace, something Gonzalez has

Don't you think he needs some time without any pressure on his soulder to gel with the team? You really think he is that big for a club like Inter?

No, the first league games of the season should go for testing out players and such stuff. It's hard to judge anyones form with him coming on as maybe a tired marker of his will make him look a lot better etc. With such squad we have to take the risk and start different players most of the weeks because otherwise we'd have 11 happy guys and 15 angry ones.

And I believe that we should play Adriano. Sampdoria's defence is probably going to be a very weak one this year so it may be a good confidence booster for him.

If it'd be up to me -

Toldo
JZ - Materazzi - Samuel - Grosso
Dacourt
Vieira
Gonzalez -------- Solari
Adriano - Ibrahimovic

Solari needs a chance to show his skills! He deserves that chance. Deki should be on bench as he can replace all of our midfielders and his form is a question.

Don't forget that we lost the previous 2 scudetos (maybe one) because of the slip ups during the first matches. I say the first matches are very important for the spirit of the team. By getting the best results the team charecter will go up.
And Solari has confirmed his skills before. As I said before there should be something wrong between him and Mancio and It hurts me a lot. I believe he's much better than MG and Deki and he's not that less than Figo and he's younger.
PLEASE Mancio, give him sometime. Of course not in Coppa.

Matrix-Samuel is too risky. Both are mistake-prone defenders. It's either one or the other... which should almost always be Samuel in my biased mind. ;)
Sorry about the late entry, but are you trying to say that Cordoba doesen't make any mistakes. Do I need to remind you who was one of the biggest disappointments last year with his constant marking mistakes in our very important periods in league matches?

Materazzi - Samuel would work the best. We have four central defenders (+ one back up) who are all different types. So we've got one for basically every type of strikers, we need to use that opportunity. I think Cordoba would be in trouble with Flachi more than Samuel would. And the later showed againist Sporting that he can play very good, while Materazzi played major part in pocketing Toni.

On the opposite way, I advise you to look at Juventus who last season played one same squad all the time and their end of the season wasn't really impressive.

I don't say to field the same team for the whole season I say DON"T PLACE A GREAT PRESSURE ON THE NEW ARRIALS SHOULDERS as they still need time to improve their game and fittness.
PS:
Juve started to slip when they had almost won the title.

No. Juve fans were complaining about the lack of rotation a long time ago at the start of the season. They started falling a part already before we met them as they had some serious troubles. It was partly psychological no doubt, but the tiredness was no doubt there as Capello played basically one starting XI everytime he had the possibility.

And I don't see that giving new arrivals a chance to play is putting a pressure on their shoulders. The only pressure they have is to play good to get hold of a first team place, which is more of a motivation anyway.

Also, Inter has several slip up periods in the seasons where we struggle a lot. Hopefully I have to use "had" in the future though with such possible squad to pick from.

But rotation is more pleasing me. But I sincerely hope that Solari will be part of this rotation also and sooner or later also Andreolli & Maxwell & Burdisso (once he gets back) and other strikers we have.

This is funny. How and when will he be ready to play if he NEVER plays?
It's not like he is our main player, he is just a team player with 10 others who are experianced enough
I bet my ASS that if mariano plays from first minute he will play very good.
I don't expect anything special, just freshness and movements..something we need and miss now

And if we are going to slip out just cause of one damn player then something is really wrong with our team

here is team for tomorrow:

This is a stupid line-up if Mancini really wants it!

Damn it, Cambiasso will be out for a while, how about start playing Stankovic in the middle!!! Him and Vieira can interchange going forward and defending.

And why Dacourt and Vieira? Are we playing Barcelona at their home? All you get with that is more and more isolation for the forwards.

And how about letting Solari be the LW? Don't his goals and performance late in the season merit anything?

i agree man... Deki and Vieira in the middle, and Solari and mariano as wingers. Like this:

--------------Toldo-----------------
JZ------Samuel----Cordoba---Grosso
Mariano---Vieira----Deki-------Solari
------------Adri-----Ibra-----------

I am not going to concern myself with line ups and such you guys have beaten that issue to death. What I am more curious about in this game is how the team is going to respond both pyhsically and mentally. Has Mancini learned from the past two seasons that the game right after a loss for Inter is one of the biggest games of the seasons and must be repared for to the finest detail? Or are we going to see the same old Inter languishing in their own ineptitute after a loss still trying to find their feet a couple of games down the road.

Also one more thing Viera may have had an early shower against Sporting but he worries me Mancio needs to take him out at some point in this game to ensure that he is fully refreshed for the game against Roma in the midweek, could a game in the Olimipico come at a worse time for us or what. If I am not mistaken it was another early season midweek clash with Roma that led Inter astray at the beginning of last season.

Why not use Maxwell at LB or even LM, I've seen him play for Ajax for along time and he is always consistent and is very effective.

Julio Cesar
JZ-Samuel-Cordoba-Grosso
Mariano-Stankovic-Viera-Maxwell
Zlatan-Crespo

(Figo needs a rest, he's old and can't play every game)
