at the starting of the season i was critisizing dacourt but after watching the game against sporting i saw the way he was winning the ball and the next thing that came in my mind was that he is a great player im sure we will find a way to replace cuchu for the samp game and vieira for bayern.we have stan who can play both attacking and defensive.i hope we will play maicon against samp he has talent and he can further improve his crosses but one thing is that he cant replace capitano.

Stop thinking about the Sporting game, this is another differenent competition.

I'am sure Mancini will play with: Toldo, Zanetti, Samuel, Cordoba, Grosso, Dacourt, Vieira, Stankovic, Figo, Ibrahimovic, Adriano/Crespo.

I hope he starts with Adriano and Grosso, and if things don't go ok then we will see Mariano or Crespo in for Vieira, Figo or Dacourt probably. (I also would like to see Solari, but forget him, Mancini will never play him, only in coppa games)
No need to do more shit experiments like Zanetti on the left and Maicon on the right, Zanetti is a RB let's play him there, Maicon should be a revulsive for the second half when the match it's crazy maybe.

Figo cannot play, he should not be played at all, we play Roma at the Olimpico in a midweek game next week, thats where Figo is a MUST. If he plays this, he's gonna have only 4 days to play again and he doesn't have the legs for that.

switch to a 4-4-2 and play with natural wingers and give Stankovic a role in the middle of the park.

I think we should play this way:

Toldo - Zanetti, Cordoba, Samuel, Maxwell - Mariano, Viera, Deki, Solari - Adriano, Ibrahimović

It's a very technical, attacking side which is just what we need for our first home game. Yes, the time these guys spent together on the pitch could set out as a problem, but hell, even our regulars aren't showing that they know how to play together, and yet, we won two very difficult games..

Maxwell should be given chance, as Grosso didn't show nothing up to now.. Adriano too, with Crespo warming-up from first minute
As you said, Figo needs rest.. And no Stanković on the wing, please..

I agree with Catanha, Figo should be reserved for the Roma game and we should go for a pure 4-4-2 with wingers.

Stankovic HAS, MUST, and OUGHT to play as a CM, let him get some time there because we will need him badly.

Please play with Mariano and Solari as pure wingers, and Crespo should be there to benefit from crosses.

Vieira should be the DM, let him suffer by playing alot of games since he won't play against Bayern and let him learn to keep it cool.

I don't know who are the current strikers for Sampdoria, but if they have that tall Italian striker Bonnazzoli(?) then maybe Materazzi should play.

Every player can have good game, so he can too. I was against this transfer from the very beginig. Yeah, Samp play with Bonazzolli and Flachi up, Bonazzolli is maybe similar to Toni, not as good cause he is not as good as Toni in the headers and fast as him.
Be sure that we will not play with 2 pure wingers and only 1 DM in this game, it's going to be 4-4-2 (with 2 wingers) or 4-3-1-2.

Could be a pretty long game. I plan to suffer through watching a mentaly incapable team, which is nothing new to Interisti like us.

I'd be pleasantly surprised to see us out there firing on all cylinders following such a tough defeat. With Mancio as our coach, we could still be mentally fragile and questioning ourselves with such "are we really good enough?" or perhaps if we are really scudetto challengers or not. Either way, the outlook on this season could be completely changed by the end of this weekend if we lay yet another egg.

I just finished watching Sporting - Inter and I can definitely say (as most of us know) that out of form Figo didn't help us at all. Then again, Stankovic wasn't doing well either. Dacourt in the other hand, along with Zlatan and the defenders did quite well.

I do hope that we will go back to our formation with which we started since the 35th minute of Super Cup (4-3-1-2). Even in the absence of Cambiasso, Mancini does have quite many options to play the 4-3-1-2 formation.
