Our first home game since Facchetti's death, nothing less than a win expected. I hope Mariano Gonzalez gets some more minutes too.

Fabio ;)

I think we will win here... We have lost in Lisbon, and now we have to win, so that our confidence returns. I also hope that Mariano gets his chance Fabio, and now I believe he will when we are Cambiasso short. can he play in his role?

I doubt it, tonight he played mainly on the right wing and I also saw him switch to the left. Despite being a hard worker, I seriously don't think he would cut it in Cuchu's role.

I would go for:

TOLDO
J.ZANETTI - CORDOBA - SAMUEL - GROSSO
VIEIRA
M.GONZALEZ STANKOVIC
FIGO
CRESPO - IBRAHIMOVIC

Never gonna happen though.

Fabio :)

You mean something like 4-4-2 diamond? Hmmm, that could work.... If we had a proper playmaker, and I doubt Figo can be one, his main position is winger...

Figo needs a rest as seen against Sporting.

Afther this game and the game did u had againts roma im confident wee can beat you guyz easy and wee will dominate.

Now your gonna say your full of bullshit.Am i?

U guyz are real madrid all over again,u have a bunch of stars, and i must u realy have alot of them, but u dont have any one to lead them.U dont have coah good enought to inspire the team, neither do you have a player that can lead the team in the field that is good and cand inspire the rest of the inter players at the same and love the club.

Plus its like the most players who come to you to get a big more fat check pay are like on vacation, its like there sayng: oh were at inter, nobody expects us to win sumthing major anyway cause thats the tradion so why fight for it,a **** il just get my money and preted to play footbal.

Im kinda srry for you inter fans who have to put up whit all this shit.

Oh I can't deci
Catanha's lineup seems most probable. Though Ibra has played against Fiorentina and Sporting, maybe its time for rest. I suppose Adriano *grumble* and Crespo can start.

Dacourt has been exceeding expections so far. Although, same as Ibra, needs a break.

i dont think you need to feel sorry for us and dont be too excited at the very moment we still havent reached our potential.inter fans are the greatest compared to you guys im really sure if the same thing happened to ac you would just abandon them and support real madrid.what a bunch of pathetic milanista.im hoping for adriano to play alongside crespo and ibra should rest we have a long season to go.

It's difficult to predict what our line up would be against Samp, but I think the likes of Crespo and Solari should start next Saturday. Adriano should be benched in my opinion and could come later on. He clearly needs to score a goal to get go and to relief some of the pressure he has on his shoulders.

Sampdoria are coming from a disapointing home defeat against lowly Empoli and will give their all since they are under pressure. It would be a tough game and we need to rotate a bit.

Since Cuchu is not available for this match my line up would be the following:

Toldo

Zanetti Cordoba Materazzi Grosso (Maxwell)

Stankovic Vieira Dacourt Solari

Ibrahimovic

Crespo

Adri definitely needs to score. But, if he plays together with Crespo in the attack, he won't. That would be one more bad game for him. Crespo is a pure box striker, and Adri needs Ibra. If he plays with Crespo, he will be the SS, and that is not his position. My oppinion thiugh....

Anyway, I think Catanha lineup will be most probable, and it ill be good. Solari and Mariano can prove themselves, and I won't see the shithole Dacourt play.

I kind of disagree that Dacourt was a shithole. Yesterday he was the best of the worse for us. He also did a good job against Fiorentina.

Therefore, I think he deserves to start again for us on Saturday.

What can Dacourt do besides tackling? NOTHING. Amd I don't like that. I didn't watch the gaem yesterday, but I didn't like how he played against Viola. I don't like him, and I never will. Damn, Pizarro is better than him, he can play on various positions and is creative....

I respect your opinion Pajo, but you needs players like Dacourt in all teams. You need someone capable of winning the ball back for you team and Olivier is the only player capable of doing so since Cuchu will be out for a while.

Pizarro might be more creative with the ball you are true, but if you don't have the likes of Olivier in the team how would Pizarro get it!

Anyway I only used that as an example and I'm sure that some us won't like a certain player, but overall I think we have a "good squad" and we should achieve something important this season.

Pajo your posts about Dacourt are absolute crap man, seriously. You didnt watch the game yet have the nerve to go off at Oliver like that. Sorry we dont have Beckenbaur and Mashcerano as backups instead of him.

Nerazzurri813 answered it pretty well.

fk pajo,

you didnt even watch the game and you criticise how dacourt played,

thats the problem i have with this forum,

you talk about pizarro even though he isnt part of our squad, whilst you criticise a fighter who tried his arse out against sporting.

players like dacourt leave their souls on the field and you criticise them,

if anyone deserved a 5.5 it was olivier, noone else

id love to see pirlo play for inter but it wont happen, even though he is an former inter player and bla bla bla

narazzurri 813 nice post,realistic :star:

I think we should continue playing Maicon in the RB against Sampdoria as well, the reason being Cambiasso's absence. I guess J.Zanetti would do well in replacing Cambiasso. Then again, I am not too sure if Mancini wants Dacourt there ??

If possible, I would prefer this:

------------------ Toldo -----------------
Maicon ---- Cordoba -- Samuel ---- Grosso
----- J.Zanetti -- P.Vieira -- Stankovic ----
---------------- Figo/Gonza --------------
----------- Zlatan ------- Adriano --------

I would go with the upfront duo one again, as it seems that our whole team sucked last night. If Figo's to be rested, then Gonza wouldn't be bad.

Just incase, Dacourt/Cambiasso is a must there then Stankovic could be benched or in the ACM position (if Figo's to be rested)

:)

I dont think Mancio will rest Figo.

"Perhaps it is better for Figo to play behind the strikers because he gives quality and finds it easier, but it always depend on how you go on the pitch and your desire to dominate the match from the first minute."

My english is very very poor, so please forgive me for feeling that the comment meant, we will play 4-3-1-2,if and when we are expected to win or "dominate", i.e. the easier teams or when we are at home.

I like the 4-3-1-2.:D :p

-------------Toldo------------

J.Z.-Caffe Cordoba-Matrix-Grosso

Vieira-Dacourt-Stankovic(Maxwell??)

-------------Figo------------------

-----------Crespo-Ibra-------------

Vieira should play this game, because he will get his day off against Bayern:nervous: . And that means Mariano will have to wait another game for his debut though.

Maybe we will test the 4-4-2 with Mariano and Maxwell on the game, when we are 2-0, 3-0 up in 45 mins. ;) How I wish!

In the big scheme of things, every Serie A match is important, I frankly do not want to win anything else, if we can win the Scudetto on the field.

I am relieved to see members here saying the truth about Dacourt. Yes we lost, but he played much better.

Pajo, if you want a DM to take it up a notch and play more offesnively, you need your offensive midfielders to play much better than ours yesterday.
