No one is saying that, but the fact is Ibra did get involved in the last part of the game. You really can't say what Adriano did in this game was as satiating as to what Ibra did, otherwise Adriano wouldn't get subbed, and he wouldn't had been disappointed with his performance on the pitch.

Adriano got subbed because Crespo is better playing alongside a support striker like Ibra than Adriano. Second of all, to me, no matter how suprising and great this win was...it's not as good as if we would've won it with loyal players and not mercenary scum like Crespo, Vieira and Ibrahimovic. That is all.

Putting that aside, Forza Inter vincemo lo Scudetto insieme :star:

Great victory and one that is much needed to gain confidence in our abilities. I couldn't ask for a better reply from our boys  .

Thanks Inter for giving us a great joy and a hope to end all the disappointments from the past.

On the game itself, I think we started very badly and nothing was working for us, and for once (Il Capitano) made a dreadful mistake which gave Roma the lead. At 0-3 down I thought we were in for a disastrous and shameful defeat, but Patrick showed why he is a world class player is. He's goal coming one minute before half time was essential as it regained the players the lost confidence.

After the interval, Mancio tactical changes were incredible... I mean if I was in his place I could've panicked and I would've brought in Crespo and Cruz in place of Adriano and Ibrahimovic who were very disappointing, but complements to the coach who had patience and dealt the situation with calm. Mancio grown and I think he gained experience needed to lead this star-studded team.

In the end, I have to say that LUIS FIGO was my man of the match, not only for scoring the winning goal, but it was for the way he led the team and inspired our comeback. At his age, playing in this way in Italian football is incredible, and not only that, he has been lively throughout the 120 minutes so he deserves every word of praise.

A great win and let’s hope for more of that this season.

Javier Zanetti,
I Envy All Of You Guys!!

Guys, I envy all of you who saw the Supercup. Such an incredible match and I'm not able to saw it. Indonesian TV station didn't broadcast the match, damn, damn!! It must be such a magical show if you saw it live. Also there's no announcement what TV station will broadcast Serie A next season, i'm afraid I can't watch Inter, damn! In Indonesia, EPL has the highest rating for football, Serie A next, then La Liga.

Well, so that means it doesn't mean as much to you if we win scudetto with players like Crespo, Vieira, Ibra, etc...So why bother supporting Inter?

Some of our fans are a little bit upset about having players who played for our fierest rivals in our team. To those I say, don't forget we are talking about "professional footballers". Those are people who earn their living from playing football and of course some of them will only be loyal to those who pay more or give them the chance to win trophies.

I think the newcomers showed that they are commited to Inter and will give their all with their displays last night. Sooner or later we will get used to them and I have to say I liked they way the team was united to lets just all be united like they were.

Maxwell still isn't 100% per cent. He said on his arrival that he was available from september. But what is happening to Facchetti?

Great match!! Inter showed that they has mentality to take game in their hands, control match and SCORE( most important )!!!
maybe now Mancini understands weaknesses of 4-4-2 and sees how INTER plays in 4-3-1-2 !!!!!!!!
I'm hoping for INTER ERA now!!!!!!!!!!
And lookin for highlights as i haven't seen the match

Great match, first half was very bad, all that long balls, I hate that, and it didn't go wel, but after that, second half was great, I celebrated this special victory the whol night :).... !

:interscarf:

But why is everyone dedicating the match to Fachetti ?
He is/was very I'll right ?
Is he dying at the moment or something ? Anyone who knows more ?

Crespo's goal, last time I've seen such goal in Inter was from Vieri. And that was long time ago.

Grazie Crespo for making us a professional football club again.

judging from the news that i have read and the goals i am impressed at how fast vieira has gel into the team scoring two goals imagine him in a long run hes going to be more of a 3 striker from midfield who is dangerous and can be a great ball winner.we dont have to replace figo he is a legend and maicon and understudy.i would now divert my attention to our defence in the centre theres where a big gap lies.i hoping more future trophies with the lion spirit that we had in us in the comeback.cant wait to watch the repeat.

I gotta say that Vieira's performance last night is one of the best performances I've ever seen from a player. Not just his two goals, as those who weren't spectacular.

We gotta work on our defence though.

You just gotta love these guys.

I agree with you guys about Crespo, especially Hamed, it's so true, that goal reminded me of the Ajax CL goal too.

Crespo looked so sharp and dangerous, and he managed a wonderful goal plus a great assist to Zlatan.

Now, Zlatan, I'm very worried about him. He misses sitters, he always looks for the fancy, flashy move, losing us balls. On the other hand, he gets involved, he has an incredible ability to frustrate opponents (when he just stops moving, never seen anything like it).

Grosso, he was probably very emotional due to his first big crowd game at the S Siro, but I have no doubts he'll be vital for us.

Maicon, what a character! He's not only strong, he's confident, he's a leader, and soon a fan favourtie. Great stuff.

Figo was a giant yesterday, but I think Vieira was too. When we were completely outplayed by Roma, he was the only one winning possession for us, fighting, rarely making a mistake. This guy can carry us to titles.

To be honest, after seeing Crespo yesterday, I can't help wishing for him to start in place of Adriano. Maybe we should think about it if they offer us 40+ millions for him next week. It's not just about his performance, it's the "Adriano case", we could surely do without that...

Mancini screwed up in the first half, and he failed to react to Roma's total dominance, Mancio that's not on. At least he had the balls to take Adriano off and obviously his half time speech was phuckin effective.

Judging this game, we should keep in mind that players are not 100% fit, and Roma decided to give EVERYTHING in the first 30 minutes. They were moving all the time, they just made our players feel like they had 10 bottles of vodka.

But it backfired on them, in the second half we were just as dominant, and they paid the price.

J Zanetti didn't have a good one, he should watch out for Maicon now.

Toldone, a great save but again a mistake, my worry is how will he react if J Cesar starts the next game?

Wow, only one game, but such a memorable one, I think I could keep writing for another hour but hey, I think I bored you enough!

Pazza Inter, you just gotta love them :proud:

P.S. Check out gazzetta's ratings here: http://www.javierzanetti.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3248&page=2

Yeah, youre right, and it was Matrix his fault, if we place Cordoba theyre, there will be no gap I think, or Matrix has to stay on his position and not going on adventure every time !

That gave me a good laugh. :dielaugh:

Frisk, give Zlatan a break, when was the last time he played infront of a big number of his own fans? :dielaugh:
