Marco Materazzi insists “Juventus must not win” against Inter on Saturday, not least because it would derail their Scudetto hopes.

The Bianconeri are just one point ahead of Napoli at the top of Serie A, and face a Derby d’Italia against the Champions League-chasing Beneamata.

I don’t think we are under as much a pressure as Juve. Look around, people calculating our chances of finishing in the top 4 always count the Juve game either as a tie ir a loss. We know getting points against Juve will be really hard so we’ve already made our oeace with it.

On the other hand, Juve didn’t think they would lose to Napoli at home and that complicated things for them.

Everyone wants the happy ending - we beat juve, and eventually qualify for the Champions League while Napoli win the scudetto in part due to our victory in the derby. Then there are two silver medal outcomes: we qualify for the CL but juve still win the league, or, we don't qualify for the CL, but Napoli win the league. There is however, a worst case scenario which is that we don't qualify for the CL and Juve beat Napoli to the title anyway. I cannot put into words how much that outcome would disgust me to my core.
