Guarin meant...please continue booing me...obviously he was angry and the crowd was even more pissed then

not a smart move pissing off the meazza tbh

those in meazza today are not hardcore fans.. CN was close.

He made the "loco" gesture, that fans are crazy for booing him.

But he was wrong, in the second half, he lost all the balls directed to him, I don't know what was he expecting. So childish.....

we were trailing by goal but he kept playing as if we were leading 5-0. no urgency from him whatsoever and his first touches were horrible. how could the fans be okay with that?

Some interesting points of the match :

1. Our heroes are our villain
Cambi and Jonathan might score the goal, but the former was pretty much anonymous at defence while the latter was too confident after series of good games

2. Rickrolling Tricky Ricky
MotM hands down. The corner of first goal came from his effort and gave an assist for Jonathan. Showed great defensive responsibility (which is rare for attacking midfielder) and always providing himself as passing target.

3. Compactnaro vs Juan
How many goals would we concede without Campagnaro ? Meanwhile, how many goals would we concede if Juan keeps playing like that ?

4. Down to Earth please
Just like Jonathan suffers overconfidence, so do the Interisti after a good start. Mind that Fio played without Pizzarro, Cuadrado, Gomez, Pasquale injured at min 35, and Montella made a dubious decision by hauling Rossi at very early timing. Despite all of them, Firo still managed to almost grab 3 points at Inter's own turf. The road is still far ahead folks.

5. Authoritative and reactive
Mazzari made the right decision to introduce Icardi and Kovacic into the game, but that's after Inter trailed behind Fio. Playing at home against half-strength Fio should urge Mazzari to be more proactive to the game. It was the situation where he dictated the game, not waiting the disaster happened first.

jonachan was struggling, but he never stopped trying.

juan made a mistake by giving away a penalty, but he kept on fighting.

guarin may have the athleticism, but he doesn't have the fighting spirit.

i know this sounds cliche and cheesy, but fuck it. that's the actual problem with guarin anyway.

It was kind of a shit thing to do booing Guarin tbh. I don't blame him for the irony and getting pissed at his own fans whistling him out as he was subbed.

I don't like the booing when the player is actually still playing in a game. But Guarin was being subbed out and those people that paid for their tickets had every right to show their feelings in that moment.

Guarin is cashing his paycheck because of those people, he should know better. But I honestly wasn't surprised, after watching him play for 2 years he strikes me as a dumb guy.

Well, obviously defensive a good game, yet some errors due to stupid possession waste. Either way very happy with the result. It's always 90 mins excited at Inter! PAZZZAAAA !!
A good Ricky, sometimes stupid decisions, overall good, excellent Rano and Cuchu.

Yet I'd subbed a few players earlier and let Taider stand. Overall tactical game. Too much respect for Fiorentina and Borja gave us a hard time with the ball circulation. Great test though.

Handanovic :Good game, great saves. Almost a massive fuck-up. But great game overall
Campagnaro :Good game defensively, but he was a bit fired up and too agressive. The yellow was not needed.
Rano :Bossing in defense. Bit shaky without Campa, but he covers Juan good. Beast game
Juan :Not as good as before. Too many lost balls by kicking it up front, unnecessairy penaltyfoul, deserved yellow, too fired up as Campa
Jonathan :Not as super as before, yet decent game, good crosses, he tried to dribble too much though leading to many ball losts. Yet screamer Goal. Forza Jona!
Taider :Played good, had 2/3 bad passes though, but recovered them each time. Defensive he was very good.
Cambiasso :Awesome retro goal, played beastly, defensive good, offensive good, passed well. Excellent.
Guarin :So many waste, bad plays, 1 great shot and that's it. And responded to the booiing of the crowd. Very stupid.
Nagatomo :Bad game, bad crosses, bad runs. Bad game overall.
Alvarez :Awesome dribbles, and that deciding assist to Jona. Good play. But needs to do more with the ball. Overall good.
Palacio :Worked his ass off. Ran too much. He definitely needed a striker along him today from the start.

Subs
Kovacic :Impact sub. Under him our midfield started to think more offensive and putting loads of pressure on Fiorentina's midfield. Good sub
Icardi :Didn't do much, but he didn't get any scoring chances either way. But did put pressure on Fiorentina's defense. In that case, necessairy sub
Pereira :Played decent. Yet should have scored. Good sub

Mazzarri :
The players showed excellent determination to score after the penalty. The first half wasn't much good. Good subs. Althoug Taider shouldn't be subbed first. Guaro should have been off earlier. Kova to start earlier as well. And rotate a bit. Palacio's fatigue was obvious. Time to sub Belfodil? Well either way, happy with the win and the way he ensured every stayed calm after the 2-1.

MOTM
Cambiasso & Alvarez

Notable
Jonathan, Rano, Handanovic

Fucker
Guarin

Handanovic: great awareness. He gives a safe and peace mind for defenders now.

Hugo: amazing performance again. Had to do more than usual to cover Jona's ass. That tackle he made right in front of Handa was super brilliant, reminds me a lot of Samuel.

Ranocchia: Unbelievable performance by him. Solid tackles, chased down players, made his statement on the game. Good control on ball that he almost fucked up twice.

Juan: lots of brainfarts.

Jonachan: Amazing Maicon's quality goal but apart from that it was a below average performance.

Guarin: deserves a dickslap twice. He started well for 10 minutes then fuck up the rest.

Cambiasso: Made numbers of crucial tackles but overrun number of times by Fio.

Taider: game was deteriorating with times. Made numbers of poor passes, given away possessions. He a little drop from previous 2 performances.

Nagatomo: Disappeared sometimes in the game but did his job.

Alvarez: Had a lapse of concentration loss but returned to the game immediately. Definitely our best player so far.

Palacio: Expected him to do much better tbh. He should have made some runs in the beginning or attempt some shots.

Icardi: didn't see him touch the ball.

Kovacic: brought his game lively. Gave balance to our mid and add creativity. He should start next game over Guarin but he needs to keep up this.

Pereira: 1 great run, wasted opportunity.

Mazzarri: dude knows his shits. good subs, definitely his subs made the difference today. His motivational skills is also incredible. Who would have thought Inter could bounce back and win the game last season?

Has to give Ranocchia his credit today.

I don't like it when our defenders start running with the ball headless chicken. All of them did it today. Juan and Rano on occasions were about to lose the ball. That's the worst way to concede.

It was also the part of the gameplan and eventually played part in our second goal. Our CBs were exposing Fiorentina with their runs all game long through the middle. I liked it tbh.
