We could have another Cordoba in Murillo. No point in increasing our defenders' already high age with Garay. Another Interish/Mancinish transfer. I'll pass.

if his positioning is half as good as mirandas positioning is, they will work perfectly together.
look at juventus where none of chiellini, barzagli and bonucci is known for being pacey, but yet they are one of the best defenisve lines, because they are perfectly organised.
another example for that is lucio + samuel.

murillo is a player with endless potential and had an overly positive season, but you cannot overlook the massive positioning mistakes he had. if the deal is really 20 millions plus a player who is capable enough of replacing him instantly, i would take the money and run.

When BBC becomes just BB or BC they struggle because of their lack of speed and mobility. As for Lucio and Samuel - Lucio was quite quick before he was beset by injuries

The FFP profit must be pretty good if we insist in this deal, which on paper, doesn't look good imo, considering Garay, despite being the boss he is, is declining, while Murillo is getting better everyday.

Weird...

good point for juve yes... lucio was not quick but overall pretty athletic.

there is no logical reason to deny this transfer despite garay being almost 30 years old, which is not old at all especially for a defender in the serie a. furthermore with this deal going through, we could even afford a new young defender instead of murillo, because of the massive effect the ffp calculation brings upon. this is the most important point when regarding our current financial state and our deal with uefa.

Well, Murillo does not want to go to Russia (and why the fuck would he want?).

Murillo is not really getting better everyday though. Had a massive declineing in 2nd half of the season.

How do you know that Garay is declining? He's 29 which is the prime time for CBs, he can still get better. Juve bought Barzagli when he was 30 and he is now one of the best CBd in the world... 5 years later.

I am good with Garay he just has high wages. Would prefer him with Murillo if we sold Miranda but all the rumors of him being sold died a while back. Here's a crazy idea why don't we keep Murilo and buy Garay. Garay cost under 10 million and is a told class CB. In a season where we play Europa league wouldn't it be nice to have 3 great Cbs + Rano hahaha. Don't most top teams have more then 1 good CB? I also think Garay-Miranda will be too slow.

Murillo isn't perfect but at his age he can defiantly work on his marking. All the goals in Copa America were on his side. Chile completely raped him but his LB didn't help at all.

Medel, Murillo, Miranda, Garay + a youngster. Pretty good Df. Sell Rano and Juan. Use that money to reinforce the team not try and fk when of your best players for FFP.

Double exchange Inter-Zenit: Murillo/Jovetic for Garay/Witsel?

for now only Garay accept Inter but for example Murillo now gets 1.5m and Zenit can offer him 4m wage!

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter and Zenit St Petersburg are increasing their talks about the switch Murillo-Garay with euro 10 million to Inter. The Nerazzurri are considering to add Stevan Jovetic to the negotiations and rediscuss the balance. Thats why a Russian delegation is expected to land in Milano next days

Sportmediashit: Zenit offer Garay and 10m for Murillo, we want 15m!

The negotiation to bring Ezequiel Garay to Inter could complicate: his wife, in fact, would like to return in Portugal, and so to Benfica, his last club before the transfer in Russia. A will that could complicate the affair that could include also Jeison Murillo.

The latest edition of Corriere della Sera focuses largely on the national team’s return from France after penalty defeat to Germany. There is however a section still dedicated to the mercato concerning both Milan clubs. For Milan, they continue to push for former Inter player Mateo Kovacic of Real Madrid while it is said Barcelona have Matteo De Sciglio lined up. For Inter it reads: “A meeting is to be arranged regarding the swap of Murillo-Garay, as well as Inter remaining focused on Gabriel Jesus and Antonio Candreva.”

Buying Garay, let alone trading Murillo for him, would be just hysterically shit.
