Not sure I completely agree with you Han, Cuchu is my pick of the two.

I dont think Pirlo is as bad as you describe him, I havent watched tons of BBilan's games, perhaps 2-3 and I think almost everything is built by the feet of Pirlo, hes not great defensively but I think he makes passes that have made Kaka the winner of the Ballon d'Or.

Cucho is way more consistent than Pirlo. Pirlo made do more of the fancy stuff but I will take Cucho with his 40 games of ratings of 8 a season over Pirlo were only 10 of the games a season he performs to a 9.

And Kaka only won the golden ball because the so called writers don't watch enough serie a and only counted cl performances.;)

It's funny because this Inter contains so many underrated players and still brush away all there is.

JC, Samuel, Matrix, Zanetti, Cuchu, Cruz, Ibra (by prize givers at least), Maxwell at least.

Cucho in my oppinion is by far the best overall midfielder in serie A!! He can do almost everything with ease and consistency. Something i can not say about many others in serie a. O and idk if it's just me, but it seems like kaka does a nice dribble, and consistently misses the target, but becasue all his chances, he manages to score a goal in many games. Kaka's great don't get me wrong, but i dont think he matches up with all the hype.

ala shaz or adnan :p ...but yes the focus is always off Esteban...maybe it was the profile as Pirllo can advertise more things in Italy...especially the feminine crap...Andreas Bath Balm with chamomile and velvet

i wont start on the hair range possibilities :p coz Pirlo loves his hair more than Totti...ridicilous shit always playing with it

lol Benny you fackin leg! FI wouldn't be the same without you.

And I agree with everything that's been said about in the Cuchu vs. Pirlo debate. Pirlo is so on and off, you never know what to expect from him. Cuchu, in top form, is one of the best CM's in the world as he's good in all areas. He's the Zanetti of our midfield and much like Il Capitano, he doesn't get the respect he deserves.

Pirlo was one of the most underrated players years ago, now he is a top3 of the most overrated, i mean, 5th in the golden ball award? lol, it's crazy.

The Pirlo hate is crazy, though. Andrea was amazing on the world stage for Italy and was without a doubt the best Italian player at World Cup 2006 alongside Fabio Cannavaro, IMO.

Comparing Cambiasso to Pirlo simply because he is inconsistent is unfair. Cambiasso's recent form is nothing short of incredible, but he too had his rougher times. He hasn't reached this amazing level for a couple seasons which he's finally been able to find again. So, yes, right now - Cuchu is the best central mid in Calcio. Just leave it at that. :)

How is it unfair to label Pirlo inconsistent?? It's simply a fact.

Cambiasso except for last season when injuries totally destroyed his season has been very consistent at Inter and has maintained a high level of play. The great players are consistently great the others are good players who have great days/tournaments and thats what Pirlo is. Cambiasso first season 2 seasons were very good and the third was destroyed by injury and this season he has gone up a notch.

Read what I wrote following that up. It's crazy to call him inconsistent when Cuchu hasn't played at this level beyond just this season.Injuries destroyed him last season, but it's technically still "inconsistent" mate.

I take it that we both agree that Cuchu is now playing the best football he's played in his entire world. I can get tears in my eye just watching him take care of business alongside Zanetti. Cuchu really is going to wear that captain's armband proudly in the future.

Pirlo is a magician. He's better than Real Madrid's reject, Cambiasso.

Nesta is the best defender in Italy, and Materazzi is just someone got headbutted by Zidane.

Ronaldo is the phenomenon, and Zlatan is no where near the Golden Ball.

Gattuso is the best DM in Italy, and Dacourt is just some unkown French player who doesn't even play for his NT.

Zanetti is overrated by Inter fans, and he's always second to Cafu.

Maicon plays for Inter, Oddo is ITALIAN !!

Inter should thank Juventus for giving them Vieira, he's leading Inter to the top and he's their only nominated player to win FIFA's best player of the year.

Seedorf is a great talent that was wasted by Inter, Milan turned him into one of the best midfielders in Europe. Inter have a finished old player like Figo.

Gilardino is Italy's new Vieri, Cruz is just an average Argentine striker who used to play for Bologna.

Fair enough.

Can someone explain why they're 16 points behind us?

That's easy, bro. The scudetto wasn't one of Milan's main objectives this season. :p

Galliani: Japan comes first

So.. fuck Milan! :D

Ciao,
Tim

Milan are cowards. I remember when they had gotten their 8 points deducted last year, they said "give us until October/November and we'll be ahead of Inter" and they laughed at us after three matches because they had won all and we had drawn one. In the end they ended up some 28 points behind, WITHOUT the deduction.

But media doesn't recognize this. Had it been Inter who had been 20 pts behind they would've talked about crisis all over the place. When it's Milan, they come up with all kinds of excuses like "World Club Cup is the goal", "CL is more important", "Ronaldo is injuried", "the ref is a stupid man", "the hair-driers at San Siro aren't working properly" and so on.

It feels so good to lean on pure facts. Inter 34, Milan 18.:rules:

Off-topic but I'm sure Cuchu doesn't mind a bit of bashing of Milan in his thread. Cuchu, you're great!

Nice one! How did you make that?
I took a random picture of a thermostat, messed around with the digits and added the words. Obviously this thermostat image isn't fixed - it'll probably get colder over the weeks. :D

He has had a consistently high level of play at Inter except for last season when he was injured. The other seasons weren't as high as this one but they were still consistently high while pirlo hasn't once had a consistently high season he has had many high games but during a season he has way too many down times.

Fair enough. Pirlo is inconsistent, but it would be unfair to claim that Cuchu is always underrated for no reason. He hasn't ALWAYS played at this current level, not ever. He's the best midfielder in Calcio right now. He's never been the best before, IMO. Cuchu has set his self as a quality player before since coming from Madrid, but he's upped his performance a whole notch. Unbelievable season thus far.

Beautiful couple of posts up above about Bilan. :p
