But if it's true, we are having 8 argentinians! J. Zanetti, Burdisso, Cambiasso, Veron, Kily, Cruz, Samuel, Solari. (I personally am a Brazil fan so I'm not very happy, but still, I think it will be good for Inter!)

i dont know, i hope Samuel in Italy can get his act back together, cause he was nothing impressive in Spain.

Samuel was not so good this season i La Liga what Real Madrid would hope. But I think that he are better in Serie A. If he plays like he did in Roma we can win big titels. Samuel are Samuel and he is a very good player. With Samuel and Cordoba in the back central we have Cordoba who is very fast back, and we have Samuel who with his head is very good in Serie A. And on the Corners we have Solaris left foot and we have Cordoba, Adriano and Samuels heads.

I agree with most of what you say... but we should not get rid of Cruz and Recoba. Materazzi may also be needed to provide back-up.. if he is sold then we should bring in a good young defender (I'd be happy with a primavera player, e.g Andreolli) and rely on Burdisso to be available. Then we will have good options.

Carlos Gamarra is hoping to clinch a move to Palmeiras when he leaves Internazionale.

The Paraguay captain's contract with Inter expires at the end of the month and he is due to leave Giuseppe Meazza.

He has spent the past three seasons with the Serie A giants but is now primed to return to South America on a free transfer.

Palmeiras have been in discussions with the centre half, although there is interest from fellow Brazilian sides Corinthians and Sao Paulo.

Gamarra, who recently collected his 100th cap for Paraguay, confirmed the talks with Palmeiras and is waiting to see if a deal can be struck.

"I have been in touch with some officials of Palmeiras and there could be a chance for me to return to that team," said Gamarra.

"I have come to Paraguay for my holidays but maybe there is a meeting, at least to listen to what they want to offer me.

"Personally, I would like very much to return to Brazil but it doesn't depend on me, it depends most of all on the officials of Palmeiras."

The 34-year-old has previously played in Brazil for Corinthians, Flamengo and Internacional and could enjoy his swansong with Palmeiras.

Not really a surprise, I expected for him to want to leave and this only confirms it. Good luck to him since we don't deserve his services. He's been a great guy even if he didn't get enough playing time.

If Burdissos son be better so could we have Burdisso on the left back. He played there a little before he left Italia and he was very good in that postion.

I also have read that Smauel and Solari would presents like Inter Players next week, that would be great.

I hope the Samuel deal is sealed in the next week I can take it if I have to wait longer then that. There can be no daubt that Samuel is the solution for our problems and another good thing is that we will get rid of Matrix that violent prick.

To bad that Gamarra is leaving I would have preferd him instead of Mihaj. Gamarra ís a good defender who we should have used way more then we did.

And we won't get Chivu if we do succed in getting Samuel, and it would also be stupid if we did. We need a true LB not a converted CD.

Agent confirms Inter Milan move for Real Madrid pair

Agent Ernesto Bronzetti has revealed a deal is close which will see Real Madrid pair Walter Samuel and Santiago Solari move to Inter Milan.
Bronzetti has been at the centre of negotiations between the two clubs and also the agents of both players and is confident the deal will go through.

"The deal to bring Samuel and Solari to Inter should be completed on Monday or Tuesday," he revealed.

"We are waiting for the Confederations Cup to end, as Samuel is a consummate professional and wants to concentrate on Argentina's campaign."
