Please. His agent was whoring him out to every big team that had a spark of interest in him. I'm sure he would have gone to one of the other two if they offered significantly more money. But hey, it's done with and Chivu is now an Inter player.

Maybe, but I think he like it in Italy- he is used to live there, so why change it?? He lowered his demands, i think from 5.5 mill. Euro to 4.5 mill. Euro, i'm sure if Rela or Barcelona was giving him same, he would chosse Inter. GRANDE INTER

It's pretty much all about money unless you'll be going to your favourite club or something like that, even then some guys prefer money. Very few players in this Inter side would stay if they'd get offered like 1 or 2 millions extra per year. Nowadays it's blatantly stupid to dislike someone because of money he earns because that's 90% of times the main reason why players join us.

So this is basically how our transfer market has been:

[Grosso replaced by Chivu, a younger and better player, also captain of his NT
Gonzalez replaced by Jimenez, a younger and better player, also captain of his NT
Recoba replaced by Suazo, a younger and more fit player, also more usefull because of his great pace.

Guys we should really be proud of our mercato, we are looking even more stronger and dangerous than last season. Europe, BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!!
