Really happy for this guy. I really hope that he can convince Conte and become a regular.

I want eriksen to succeed here as much as the next guy, but he hasn't deserved to play. He is slow on the ball and hasn't offered anything going forward we play a team pressure system we can't have one player not pressing or they will break the press. Hopefully he can be more aggressive and deserve to get on the pitch.

Against Fiorentina where he was deployed as regista, he was faster on ball than Brozovic. Maybe he can't justify his salary playing at that position but I'd rather keep him than send him on a free loan somewhere.

At about 0:36, you can hear who I think is Lukaku say "Goal" just before it flies in, really sweet moment. And I know it's not a roaring Meazza, but the shouts and celebrations are still great to hear without a commentator.

Class today. Passing range was incredible, scoring potential forces defenders to be shaky when he's attacking. Also did a pretty good Brozovic impression. Still beats me why he can't play center-left and attack when he sees fit.

Best passer in the squad. Wasn't tested enough defensively but looks alright positionally.

EXCELLENT. I know it was Benevento, but he totally killed it as DLP. His passing range and technique is out of this world, held the ball well, controlled the tempo and opened up the oposition. MOTM imo.

He will never be as good as Brozovic in the defensive side but in passing he's so much better. Perhaps we could play both against weak opponents.

His best game so far but there were many times he just stood there passing the ball to a crowded place on the left instead of crossing it to hakimi on the right who had all the space in the world.

Was able to get a couple shots from outside the box when the opposition was defending deep, even dribbled past a defender for one.

Against the smaller sides Eriksen’s ability to shoot from outside the box and take set pieces is required.

In which universe Inter under Conte is playing "team pressure system"??? Eriksen is actually great for pressing system but this is not system that Conte play..Pressing system is system that if team loose the ball all players move fast forward and attack opponent team on his half, instead of running backward and parking the bus...
Philosophy of pressing system is rather running 5 metres forward whole team and get the ball back as quick as possible, instead of running 20m back..More time you spend with the ball on your feet, less time has your opponent to score the goal..Team without the ball all the time get frustrated etc..Also you dont need physical-strong players for pressing, but rather technical because you spend most of the time with ball on your feet and also on your opponents half.. Eriksen match the criteria pretty much..
Conte play everything but not a pressing system..Also if you put Ranocchia and Gagliardini around good player that player will not looks good it doesnt matter what..If you have Messi and his closest teammates would be Ranocchia and Gagliardini I promise you Messi wouldnt win any trophy to this day...Eriksen in Contes team is such a talent wasting..

He played good and more than good, i liked him , all his shots were scary and some crosses were dangerous
The only problem is that Brozovic plays in the position that Conte would only use Eriksen. And for that Eriksen should train hard and run and work twice more than today ,cause lets be straight Brozovic covered 13.46km against FUCKING Jubentus.
In 90 mins.
Not benevento
There are too little players momentaly that can replace Brozovic in this team.even fucking kante cant cause he doesnt have the technique of brozovic

But maybe they can rotate sometimes

I disagree about the talent waste bit from your post Jurko. When Eriksen is on the bench and only playing 5 minutes max, that’s a waste.

Today he played really well for someone not used to being a regista. His passing range was off the hook with little to no misplaced passes. Yes it was bevanuto, yes they played shot and gifted us goals. But this was the perfect game for Eriksen to play a full match and start to get used to being part of the team from the get go in a position foreign to him.

He helped control the tempo in parts and with more experience this will shine through even more. Also with time he will MOVE WITH the play better and get forward more as at times Today i thought he was too far back. But get the essence of the regista role down pat first and then read the game as to when to insert yourself in attack.

Really happy for him. I think conte should get some credit for reintroducing him as an option and I am excited for the future. FORZA Inter and Eriksen today.

well it's Stellini on the bench not conte, conte wouldn't allow such thing.. even hakimi tried to dribble past players in the box which i never saw anyone did when conte on the bench

This. OK so he can't play as AM (still think it wasn't tried enough) but if he can play as DLP, he can certainly play as LCM in Vidal's place, imagine opposing teams having to deal with both Barella and Eriksen when we attack.
