I think Benfica will have a great day.

Man Utd, too many overrated players, specially Ronney.

Nuno Assis, I'm expecting alot from him. With Simao and Miccoli, Benfica can score first. But still, Saha was in form against Celtic, should be watched.

1-0 for Benfica.
I hope you're right, I'm expecting a 4-4-1-1 from Benfica with the usual defence then a defensive midfield (Petit and Katsouranis), Simão and Paulo Jorge/Karagounis on the wings then Assis/Nuno Gomes and Miccoli up front. I agree with you, Saha is the biggest threat of todays Man. Utd. and Benfica's defenders must stay sharp.

I'm also curious about C. Ronaldo, last time he was at the "Estádio da Luz", he made some obscene gestures to the crowd, let's hope nothing off the sort happens tonight.

And with Luizao goal...
It's funny that you mention that, because last game at home Benfica won with a single goal scored by Luisão, also Benfica is the Portuguese team that scores the most goals from corners, it's a common resource for Benfica to get goals.

Unlike British, I really like portuguese football and will cheer for both Porto and Benfica..

Lyon is the most in form team in Europe at the moment, but Steaua is though opponent and they'll surely give their best at home and could upset Frenchies..

Official lineup came up for Lille-Milan, there is no Pippo, but Ambrosini instead..So, I guess it'll be 4-3-2-1 with Kaka and Seedorf behind Gila..Btw. M.Adnan, both players you mentioned are in the Lille's lineup for tonight..

Forza Milan!! :fero:

Iniesta, Chivu,
Steaua Bucharest-Olympique lyonnais 0-3(Fred,Tiago,Benzema)
What can i say about this game ? i can tell u that lyon is a very powerfull team, they are very organized, with a good coordonation between defence and attack.
I'm sorry,my team lost, but i hope tommorow inter wins because for the moment i'm very unhappy for this steaua lost!
The score dont reflect the reality and the game on the pitch,i think a 2-0 were more realistic.

What's with the formality :D
Anyways I feel for you today man, 2 draws in a week without scoring even a goal. And also check my sig. :D

Why has Ancelotti not played Pippo from the start or at least Ricardo with Gila upfront. Gila has never been good playing by himself, he needs someone to support him.

I wasn't able to watch the match cause, for some strange reason, QSIV changed the schedule and put the Celtic-Copenhagen match on instead..

A draw in away match against the main rival in our group, is a solid result..I'm a bit dissapointed we didn't score, again, but also didn't conceed any which is quite nice, cause I was expecting more problems in the backline before the season started..And LOL about that Seedorf misskick..really funny stuff..:) He was unlucky too, cause perfectly legitimate goal od his was disallowed..BIG mistake by the linesman..

Gila still can't score, Oliveira isn't fit yet, Kaka can't do all by himself..I hope things will change soon and we shall become more effective..We haven't been defeated yet and there is no reason to panic or talking about some 'crisis'..

Question for Pi..What's going on with Rui Costa?? Is he injured or what?
Benfica didn't impress me, they weren't dangerous at all, ManU deserved to win..Rooney very poor, Ronaldo excellent..

Man Utd played the same way Arsenal played against them in the Benfica game I think, Saha's brillience finished off the eagles

Another bad day for Benfica, Man. Utd. didn't even defend that well, Benfica was just harmless. Benfica dominated most of the game, but after the goal Benfica couldn't keep the cool and they lost (and lost it, :D). I believe that the draw would be the fairest outcome but it wasn't to be.

Forget Emerson, M Diarra seems to be the missing link in Real's midfield.

He was massive today, the assist to Reyes was sweet, and that coming off a weekend where Diarra scored the GWG against Betis.

He really reminds me of a stud Vieira in his haydays with Arsenal. Hopefully Diarra will follow Cambiasso, Samuel and Figo, :star: to our youth academy!

And those who bag R Carlos should've watched the game today. He was lively both at going forward and defending. Some may laugh at him, but he is easily better than any LB we had as far as I remember.

No surprises at all today, maybe the Milan one, Saha made a goal of a top-striker, Lyon is on fire like always (look at the last goal and what Juninho do), also i feel bad for HSV, it's really difficult for them now to qualify they should need to win CSKA at home (probably), the 2 games against Porto, and maybe get a draw in Arsenal home... Thomas Doll could be dropped if they don't win this Saturday.
By the way, Dinamo Kiev is probably one of the worst teams i have ever seen.

Wittman, yes, looks like Rui Costa is still injured.

Anyone who makes fun of C.Ronaldo needs to watch todays game. That guy is unbelievable. I was so hoping he would leave United this summer, too bad that didnt happen.
And yeah ManU didnt deserve anything from the game. Quality goal by Saha though.

Hamed maybe he had a good day. The facts are that over the last 3 seasons he has been a defensiveliability. Maybe with emerson and diarra there protecting him he is doing better.

Ronaldo wasn't on form at all I think, but yet again lately all his trcks and such are always being taken away from him. ronald is a great skills player, but just in showing off, not like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho where their tricks is in to make the player and the ball go seperate ways and overcome the defender

mate im not talking about luis da silva nazario ronaldo:D ,

by "class" i mean this bloke is something from above,he has skills that most players dream of.

in todays game he passed players with ease doing what you claimed he didnt, passing players and leaving them for dead.

i watched the 2nd half of benfica vs man u and he was instrumental,

mark my words KA,he is going to be the best player in the world by the middle of 2007 at the latest.

then again thats my opinion,;)

Yeah i know that :D
I was just saying even thought I thought Ronaldo had analmost ecellent game yesterday, still his skills are that of extraordinary visual sighting, but it rarely succeds in keeping the ball possession with him ;)

Javier Zanetti,
rooney proved how overated he is yesterday, any player with flair should be able to play near their best on the wings, he was awful on the left wing.
