Valencia's performance flattered me last night. They can be a the dark horses of this year's tournament. I think they have a solid squad with some interesting players.

It was good to see Morientes score again. I really like this fellow and he was wasted in Liverpool in the past two season. I also think that David Villa will be an important player in this year competition. They guy can score from anywhere and is so talented.

Bayern trashed Spartak last night with a convincing performance.The first half was nothing special,but the second was phenomenal!!The goals came from Pizarro,Santa Cruz,Schweini and Salihamidzic.v bommel had a great game with two assists.the Prinz also was ever present and dangerous.

Milan cruising to victory, young Gourcuff scored, Forza Milan!! Stupid RaiSat don't show the match afterall so I'm watching a masacre in Lyon..

Lyon leading 'only' 2-0, it should've been 5-0 plus penalty for them as Crappavaro clearly pushed Malouda in the box..Deja vu for Real, their defence looks terrible, Fabio1 is the one to blame for 1st goal and some of his tackles were hilarious..Fabio2 didn't manage to change anything as Real looks impotent yet again..:lala:

Yeah, wrong decisions by refs, especially in HSV case when GK got a red card, too..can't understand why.. I must say that penalty for Milan was also suspicious, but unlike first two cases, it didn't affect the outcome of the match..

I saw the game on P2p streaming and Gourcuff was for many MoM - eventually Kaka was given the prize but Gourcuff was absolutely stellar in his debut for Milan ... I am sure a lot of jaws dropped at the site of what 2.5-3 mil euros can buy you these days - a Kaka clone

Brocchi and Simic were excellent too. RO was very good, didn't score but worked hard for the team and showed some signs of brilliance. Soon he will reach top fitness level and then oh my

Great news, zlatanov..I saw highlights of Milan's match and Gourcuff really had some Kaka moves..Time to calm down attacks on our management, eh? Nice to know we have a new young player able to enrich our already great mid..

One more result caught my eye - Steaua destroyed Dynamo Kyev 4-1.. Add one more obstacle to Real..they could end up battling in Uefa Cup..:howler:

Ok, if anyone here saw highlights of man u v celtic you would have seen the most unfair penalty you have ever seen.

Giggs goes down (after the GK brushed his wrist) to get a penalty. Never in 1million years was it a penalty. After watching Giggs his entire career, tonight I have lost all respect for him. Normally i think he is a model professional. He trains hard, doesnt party all night or get into fights in clubs, but after tonight I think he is nothing more than a discrace and a cheat.

Celtic were awsome tonight and gave almost everything they had. Inter could learn alot from watching the DVD of this game.

And Celtics GK Arthur Boruc is without doubt the best GK on the planet right now. Some of the saves this man has made are unimaginable. Seriously Inter should look at him - he is sensational. Remember the name Arthur Boruc, he is going places very quickly

well, the management proved yet again that they knowwhat they are doing unlike a good portion of the fans, who were a bit too quick to judge our transfer campaign as negative only because we didn't spend tons of money on whatever star name became available on the market **hint hint**
If Gourcuff continues like that soon he would be a household name just like Kaka is today ... and the mighty-wanna-b Real will be knocking on his door too.

I am really surprised by Steaua's win in Kiev, I remember the Romanian's good performance in UEFA Cup last year but never expected they would destroy a solid team like Dynamo in Kiev ... still, it would be an awfully big ask for them to beat Real M to second place.
This group is already decided I think - what's left is to see who's first and whos second but Real's dismal display tonight is encouraging to say the least - Lyon were all over them and the result could have been 5-6 to zip but Real got away with it.
