I hate saying this but we should absolutely be focusing on everything we can do to get ready for the next game on Wednesday.. this is in an incredibly indecisive tie against a tough, flying side ahead of what will unquestionably be a draining match in Madrid, which is very decisive for our season.

I do not like the team picking when they play. It can potentially lead to a slide in mentality and that is the last thing we need at this stage of the season.

Every match is worth three points: this match is no exception and we should do our upmost to win it.

Let's see a top notch opponent on their home turf that have already beaten Inter. Revenge? Nah, Inter have other fish to fry. So some rotation is needed along with some game time for the recently injured.

Rotation: Bisseck over Pavard, for Dumfries/Darmian, Hakan/Asllani a half each seems reasonable. Acerbi and Thuram may each needs a half for fitness as well. Augusto looked gassed late in Genoa match, start Dimarco then put in Buchanan or vice versa. That's five subs.

Mkhitaryan and Barella should sit this one out, but they won't. I'd start either Sensi/ Klaassen for Mkhitaryan and Ebenezer for Barella. If Acerbi and Thuram are good to go and ride the pine for this one, then these are final two subs.

Inter should use this a prep for Atletico. A win against Bologna here is doable, a draw is more likely, while a loss to this well drilled and driven side would not be unexpected. Forza Inter.

I think we can beat Bologna even with "2nd squad".

It depends on the mindset of the players, with Genoa we entered pretty light headed.

Our almost perfect away form against Bologna’s almost perfect home form. Something’s gotta give. I’d be happy with a draw and some rest for the stars ahead of the CL clash. And no more bloody injuries would also be ideal.

Very much this.

Against Genoa we got lucky with Gudmundsson missing an open net and being awarded a farcical penalty on either side of about 15 minutes of playing well.

The rest of the game was trash and that second half was some nightmare shit straight out of prime banter era.

Despite our 15 point lead this kind of complacency is unacceptable and I hope to see renewed focus at Bologna. We’ve got 3 extremely tough games ahead.

I don't have high expectations here, I just hope do not lose. Bologna don't commence well their games, but they are quite strong in the second half. A draw will be good result for me.

Like Napoli last season. They got complacent, lost 0-4 at home to Milan, and then shat their pants against them twice in the CL few weeks later. Underestimating teams like Bologna can do a similar thing to Inter and affect the rest of the season badly.

I don't want Hakan to be risked from the beginning. Mkhitaryan needs some proper rest before Atletico. Not playing 60+ minutes

Probably Inzaghi doesnt trust MasterKlaassen to start from the 1st minute.
He will be subbed in when we are 4-0 upfront.
