i could care less about this game. Most unimportant game ever, just rest the key players for Pathetico Madrid. I wont even mind a loss here
I thought the most important game is always the next game 🤔

But seriously, we need to keep the Atlético game in mind, and may even need to train with different personnel for the 2 games.

Most importantly perhaps is to have Hakan, Lautaro and the wingers in top form.

I would like to see:
Sommer
Bissek-De Vrij-Bastoni
Buchanan-Fratessi-Hakan/Asllani(45min each)-Barella-Carlos
Thuram-Arna/Alexis

Lautaro/Mikhi/Pavard/Dimarco only coming if necesary. Barella out for Klassen depending on the type of match.

Let Sensi start the game as he will never recover from the injury ...joke aside.

Rest: Hakan,Mikhi,Lautaro,Pavard,Bastoni,Barella
Start: Asslani, Frattesi, Arna/Sanchez, Bisseck, Buchanan

The others will be fine

Do you think these players are dumb? I'm pretty sure they are very ambitious as well so it's understandable to "drop" this game for the Atletico game.
No it isn’t you like many haven’t thought this through, then what about next round should we also drop those game prior to cl, or what about the next two following that is five games equal 15p there goes that scudetto down rhe drain

Calhanoglu to get 30-40 mins to his legs is the most important thing. Thuram to get going though he looked like hasn't missed a beat against Genoa. Acerbi to get going aswell, maybe one hour shift to him.

Let's hope Frattesi can play, need to give a breather to Barella or Miky and to get him going too.

Lautaro looked pretty tired against Genoa so maybe he plays for an hour and no matter the score, he comes out. We have the luxury to afford that now.

Yes, because only you can think this through. It's all about reading the situation, we are 15 points ahead and our opponents are struggling. Not only do we have to lose 15 points, they also need to gain 15 points. And it's not like we are throwing this game away, you give Lautaro, dimarco and Barella/Mikhy a rest and we'll still do well. Scudetto is already won regardless of how pragmatic you want to be.

Why can’t we play Klassen in lieu of Mkhi? Otherwise what’s the point of having a 15pts gap? Tbf we prolly couldn’t win even if we play full team against Bologna. The stakes are too high if we drop out of CL now. We need to be smart for once (especially when we don’t need to please any home fans)

SeasonBarcelonaReal Madrid
2008-2009+70+31
2009-2010+74+67
2010-2011+74+69
2011-2012+85+89
2012-2013+75+61

We're on pace to finish +78. Notable to point out that Barcelona and Real Madrid were doing this while facing each other twice per season, while we don't have any opposition anywhere near our ballpark in goal difference in Italy this season.

(That 2011-'12 season is outrageous.)

The point is that you secure the Scudetto mathematical earlier or you have a buffer in case you run into a bad form. You don’t just deliberately drop points on purpose, that is literally the most stupid thing you could possibly come up with. I’m thankful neither of your guys are our coach!

again if we progress we would be exactly in the same situation in the following games, no you don’t just gamble such a lead away the way you guys suggest it’s an absolute an idiotic suggestion.

If we secure the scudetto early that means we can do what you all dream off in the semi and potential final… but without sacrificing a trophy. Winning serie a is so important especially due to the structure of CL next year.

What's stupid is thinking that making some rotations = deliberately dropping points. You are acting like we are 1 point away from Juve, we are 15 points away from Juve and their form is shit. Advancing deep in CL will help earn more money and we all know we need every penny we can get. What's stupid is you acting like it's Coppa Italia vs Atletico on Wednesday.

Anyway, I have a feeling Inzaghi will rest either Barella/Mikhy and give some minutes to Thuram from the start, hopefully Sanchez will start with Thuram instead of Lautaro. Would be great to see Bastoni and Augusto on the left to give dimarco some rest as well.

The players looked exhausted in the previous game. Some rotation needs to occur.

So you think our sub players are bad?
Bissek and Fratessi would be sure starters at Bolonia, they can beat them.

I enjoy our points gap and all but a small part of me wishes we met this Bologna under circumstances where we could field our best XI. I'd love to see how they measure up against full strength Inter right now.

On the other hand I won't be sad to drop points if it means that they make it to CL miraculously at the end of the season.

How do you get that from my post? It's quite the opposite actually.
