Lets be honest, I personally never really thought of Pavard whenever thinking of top defenders/fullbacks. He had some absolute fucking crackers during his career which any football fan can remember and there must be a reason why he was part of a WC winning team as well as a world cup runner up. For a defender aged 27 that is actually quite insane.
For whatever reason his heart was not in Munich and wanted to leave. We should be thankful that a guy like that choose use and welcome him like interisti welcome all their players.
I am not expecting fireworks but I am expecting a solid reliable and classy defender and hope he delivers.
Our defense is looking solid as fuck now both in quality and depth.
