You're right. I'm aware that Conte deserves so much criticism specially for his Kolarov masterpiece, but that doesn't mean we have to shit on every Conte player just for the heck of it.

Nainggolan could be a wildcard for us but he looked absolutely unfit and unmotivated during that brief single appearance. It would have been better for the club to completely cut ties with him and Perisic. Relics of a best forgotten era even if they both had some quality moments as individuals.

As for Vidal, he’s been quite good. He made a tackle the other night that was vintage Vidal. He’s still in great shape for his age but I do worry about burn out. He can’t play 90 minutes every fixture.

Honestly, given Vidal's age defensively he makes tackles late, is late in marking people, giving away balls in crucial defensive areas. Can't we just play him in an attacking role like he was doing last season at Barca? He was their 2nd highest scorer I think.

Yup Conte is burning him out. In record time too. You can’t have a 33 year old midfielder play almost 90 minutes every fixture. Inevitably his performances will get worse as he gets more fatigued.
