That’s what he was talking about in the end of last season, he wanna be protected

It's the first time I have seen an Inter manager being spared from criticism like Conte, might have something to do with his Gobbi heritage.

playing with a plan without a decent midfield is hard. And we do not have someone like Ronaldo that can make you the diffrence in this situations, like for example Juve can do.

i also said "or anyway not the biggest problem".
People do forget that this team got only a draw against PSV 2 years ago. Do you think a new coach is the solution? it will take time, we probably have to start from 0 again and will fail to reach top 4 at the end of the season.

2 years ago this team didn't invest heavily and no coach has ever got the same backing as this guy has; on top of that we managed to snatched a point against barca and won against tottenham, which eventually went to the final. So while it was a disastrous campaign, it's nothing compared to this. Conte had the easiest group inter has got ever since we came back and still haven't managed a win. Conte has lost it, he's just a glorified ex epl winner; thats all what he is.

Regarding your first arguement, I thought one of the things that make Lukaku better than Icardi was that we finally have a striker who can create chances out of nowhere and who is not a 1 dimensional player? Stop being delusional.

Anyway, Lukaku is the least of our problem, the biggest problem is that fucker in your avatar whos bringing this team down the drain.

Im still convinced that Conte is not the problem or anyway not the biggest problem. Yesterdays game showed that Gagliardini and Vidal are not good enough for this team. We need players like Sensi that can move the ball forward. We played without midfield yesterday, it's ridiciolous. The worst thing Conte did is getting Vidal instead someone who could do the same that Sensi made last year (and no, not Tonali). What Conte want's to make with this midfielders is just not working.
You guys know how much I support coaches, and I will give Conte similar thing IF, but a doubtful big IF, he stops being stubborn with his philosophy.

His players pool is short-sighted and unsmellable. What are we all expecting when Conte blindlessly fills the squad with grandpas Kolarov Vidal Darmian then Alonso Kante? WIN, immediately. If you can’t bring win (“we are aiming for top4 due to Covid....”-preseason interview), fine for me, Conte, but then refresh the squad, give them time to blossom and fans will give time for you.

On the other hand, Conte disappoints me by acting in a childish way. Drains the last drops of our budget for his ONLY choices, doesn’t care about alternatives no matter how talented he is (Eriksen cough cough), wants to aim low to reduce his responsibility, threatens to rage quit if he isn’t satisfied :chan: what’s next , Conte, you sue Inter like you did with Chelsea?

I am not mentioning yet about the result, but the personality. How can Inter move forward with a coach who cares more about himself than the club? I’d rather gamble on a mediocre but happy with what he has (“Pioli-type”), at least Marotta can flood squad with talents and we will see something, than a stubborn “manager” with no long terms perpective at all in his head.

All I know is that keeping the current coach is far from the solution.

This^^^. This is the most sickening attitude of all the coaches that we ever had beside his stubbornness, subs & 0 game reading ability

In 12 games we have only 4 wins. Even those 4 wins came against:

Fiorentina (15th)
Benevento (14th)
Genoa (19th)
Torino (18th)

This says it all about how much we have underperformed this season. The squad isn't perfect. It has some gaps but it's still good enough to challenge for the scudetto. The problem is the coach. It's too late for CL (that's why he had to go after the match at Bergamo) but there's still time for the league. We can still save the season if he leaves now.

And think about how lucky we were to even win those games, both at home, against those teams. Add in the point we salvaged at home to Parma as well, who were 16th when we played them.

We've had a very manageable schedule so far and squandered it. Both games to Juve, Roma, Napoli, and Sassuolo still to play. Stick with Conte, and I would say this will get worse before it gets better, but I'm not convinced there will ever be a point where it can get better anymore.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. We are a couple of dropped points away from this season becoming a full-blown disaster.

We're already there.

So basically he is destroying what's left of our team spirit and confidence on purpose, begging to be sacked. Will Zhang's do it tho? :(

According to Sky, Conte isn't at risk but the Inter management are expecting an immediate reaction in the match against Sassuolo.

I think that Conte will stay no matter what. He's just too expensive to fire.

What worries me the most is that I can't see any sign of improvement since our first game this season.

I really dont get this argument not like he ll cost us more when we fire him it s a sunk fucken cost for god sake......

I get it we probably cant afford another "top" coach but do we need that imho every care taker cant be worse than this.
Squad should be good enough to reach 4th if theres not a complete stubborn idiot in charge.
Also is it cheaper to keep him here and sell skriniar and eriksen under value cause of him?
Cause i can assure you he'll want transfers in jan and they ll be useless under any other coach.

I honestly can't see how things can get better. Skriniar will be an improvement over D'Ambrosio but i don't think it will be enough. Hakimi looks like a ghost of the player he was at Dortmund. Brozovic has returned to his pre Spalletti form. Lautaro and Alexis remain inconsistent. With Eriksen and Nainggolan out of Conte plans, we basically have 4 midfielders, one of them being Gagliardini, and a broken Sensi for 3 positions. Vidal will continue to be a starter no matter what. The Gagliardini - Barella - Vidal midfield trio has been a disaster and it should never be used again but is that possible when Conte doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes? As things stand, the future with Conte at the helm seems very dark.

He can. Trust me. I don't want to return to the banter era for another decade.

Conte is bad atm but I don't think he doesn't get top4. Don't expect a caretaker wins matches without pre-season.

If Conte loses against Sassuolo, I would call Spalletti back,” Sabatini explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Radio, earlier on today. He went on to add: “Inter have already budgeted Conte who earns €12 million a year and Spalletti earns another €5 million. If you add their staff it will get to €21-22 million net and become almost €45 million gross.”Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has often been linked with succeeding Antonio Conte and Sabatini shared his views on Allegri and what he could do with this Inter team, which is something he believes Spalletti could also do.“It is clear that Allegri would be the right man for Inter, but you would add another €17 million to the payroll and at this moment they cannot afford it. In my opinion Allegri would fix this team but Spalletti would too. So they could call him back.

They were probably wondering why Gagliardini was on the pitch.

We were always shit in CL, always. Just see for how many years we reached only to pass the group and to get fucked, even against teams like Valencia.

Lukaku is great, but he's not Ronaldo.

I would wait before saying that this season is over or that sacking Conte is the only solution. Against Torino i saw 60 minutes of disaster but in 30 min we destroyed them. I will not stop saying that this team had no pre season, the pre season is basically the games we are playing now.
