We were always shit in CL, always. Just see for how many years we reached only to pass the group and to get fucked, even against teams like Valencia.

That's bs dude, and you know it. M'Gladbach have a much inferior squad compared to ours on paper. Yet they're 6 points ahead, play better football and are much more of a team than we've ever been this season. Why do you think that is? Because mastermind Conte is having bad luck?

Also lets not forget that shaktar was missing a shit ton of players due to covid and this real madrid side was also missing key players, this group is /was fucken weak and we got lucky while our competitors got hamred with injuries and covid yet we re dead last.

Also can we stop with the 30 mins of great football against torino? It was maybe 5 mins of great football plus one great counter attack and a slightly lucky pen.

If Conte loses against Sassuolo, I would call Spalletti back,” Sabatini explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Radio, earlier on today. He went on to add: “Inter have already budgeted Conte who earns €12 million a year and Spalletti earns another €5 million. If you add their staff it will get to €21-22 million net and become almost €45 million gross.”Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has often been linked with succeeding Antonio Conte and Sabatini shared his views on Allegri and what he could do with this Inter team, which is something he believes Spalletti could also do.“It is clear that Allegri would be the right man for Inter, but you would add another €17 million to the payroll and at this moment they cannot afford it. In my opinion Allegri would fix this team but Spalletti would too. So they could call him back.

I can imagine this is probably the only argument that could convince Zhang to fire Conte but for me Spalletti would be a very bad fit for our squad.

Spalletti never plays with a formation of two forwards. NEVER. He tried it once in his two seasons at Inter, it worked and yet he never tried it again but only late in the games when he was desparately looking for goals! In his second season, he had a squad suitable for a 4-4-2. Instead he insisted on 4-2-3-1 and he was playing Lautaro or Keita in the trequartista role that didn't suit them. So, what are we going to do with Lautaro and Lukaku?

Who's gonna play on the wings? We only have Hakimi and Perisic who could play on the wings. That's it. Alexis doesn't have the legs to play on the wings anymore.

In midfield, he would probably go with a Brozovic-Barella midfield duo and he would turn Sensi into Brozovic backup. But i have no idea what he would do with Eriksen as he always preferred more dynamic players than a natural playmaker in the n.10 role (e.g. Perotta, Nainggolan). He would probably play Vidal higher than Conte does.

If Conte gets fired, we should bring in someone who's willing to play with a diamond, which suits our squad, and Spalletti isn't going to do it.

Spalletti failed due to friction caused by icardi inside the dressing room, also that Nainggolan failed to deliver.. i wonder what he could do with lukaku and eriksen

Bringing Spalletti back

What are we, fucking Palermo. When is the last time a big club fired a manager then brought him back?

This team can be somewhat competitive with a proper coach. Conte was very promising in his first season but everything seems broken now, and like Il Drago said in earlier posts of this page; sack him before it's too late for the league matches as well. This guy has nothing to offer anymore.

It's crystal clear that he is just playing around with his statements and post-match interviews. He knows that he lost it, but he won't resign.

And also I agree with rockball's post. This season is also on Zhang. We should have never continued with Conte.

Fuck this shit

On a related note, you won't find a single Gladbach fan who isn't thrilled about who the manager of the club is. The only fear is him leaving for a bigger post sooner rather than later, but Marco Rose is an excellent manager. Someone like Jonas Hofmann wouldn't and shouldn't sniff our midfield here, and under Rose he's been good enough to earn a call-up to the national team (where, of course, he suffered an injury...). Because that's what managers are supposed to help do - elevate the level of their players.

Instead, Conte just shits all over players who aren't his very-specifically-wanted targets even after he's been placated. We get him Lukaku, get him Vidal, get him Kolarov, get him Young, tossing aside carefully planned transfer targets along the way, and it's not good enough. Nothing is ever fucking good enough for this person. We have situations where we need to chase the game where we switch our structure to play with two center backs instead of three, have success in doing so, and, very next game, we're right back to playing with three center backs. His way is the right way and the only right way even when it's not functioning as the right way during games.

And, to top it all off, he doesn't want to work here anymore but still wants his money despite that. To hell with this guy.

Also lets not forget that shaktar was missing a shit ton of players due to covid and this real madrid side was also missing key players, this group is /was fucken weak and we got lucky while our competitors got hamred with injuries and covid yet we re dead last.

And only after falling behind by a 2-0 deficit for, what, the fourth time this season already? We either don't start playing until we're 2-0 down or we luck ourselves to a lead and blow it during the 2nd half.

I didn't see a big club yesterday. Or in the last games.

We were always shit in CL, always.

We were always shit in the CL correct, but not THIS shit. Our group is so easy that we should be qualifying to the next stage while blindfolded. Instead we're doing exactly like the obscure clubs in pot 4. That's just unacceptable.

Spalletti never plays with a formation of two forwards. NEVER.

Actually he has played with 2 strikers many times in his career, just that at Inter he failed to do this. Maybe the reason was that we only had 2 forwards? Arguably we could have signed more, but given roster restrictions and the settlement agreement, I don't think it was feasible. It also wasn't a priority for him, but a 2 man system would have benefited the attacking players that we had under Spallo (Icardi, Lautaro, even Eder, Politano, Keita etc). He kinda abandoned playing with 2 strikers in most of the 2010s of course, but he still opted for it sometimes, even if more recently it was with more light weight forwards (Totti, El Sharaawy, Salah), even if Dzeko was around, he rarely paired him with another forward up front but preferred to have him paired with 2 wide forwards.

Spalletti also has always been a fairly innovative coach, being the first to use a 3-4-3 in that way, after being a 3-5-2 and 4-4-2 coach initially, then created this 4-6-0 formation with Roma. But then he got fixated with the 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 variations. Cannot say that he won't be stubborn about it and go with Perisic-Eriksen/Radja-Hakimi as the trequartista line behind one main striker, but I trust he'd do a better job than Conte. And since we're in this predicament and both are already on the payroll, I'd rather trust this to happen than keep the status quo. It's not like Spalletti will start demanding roster changes, he'll know that he's going to finish the season off and then go back to his vineyard. Or coach Milan or Juventus or even the national team perhaps.

Actually Spalletti would go with Perisic left wing, Lukaku right wing, Eriksen at #10, Lautaro up front with Brozovic and Barella as the 2 central midfielders if he came and used that 4-2-3-1. Hakimi would have the entire flank essentially while Bastoni would be defending the left side. Cannot say it's a bad setup.

Come on, chill. Everyone.

It's not like we're talking about someone 200 years ago. We all were here with Spalletti. It takes less than a minute to read what we all said about him.

Same as we're saying about Conte. Same was said about Mancini.

Some coaches were plain shit for us, period.

No matter the formation, we will always suck under Spalletti.

We do need a new coach though... Conte won't change the formation or the players he has favored upon others.

Nobody can make him bench Vidal, etc...

Pochetino or Agnelli... Who knows... Maybe Cambi

I think now is the time to make tha change. Conte only is insisting that one tactic and it don't work anymore.

The squad is very good level and with an intelligent coach this season can still turn out great.

Conte: 'If I don't last until Christmas...'

Antonio Conte admits if he is sacked at Inter before Christmas, it’ll be ‘because I didn’t deserve’ to stay, but denies the squad is working against him.

The coach is under fire after another Champions League defeat, this time 2-0 at home to Real Madrid, leaving them with just two points from four rounds.

Conte was given the infamous Tapiro d’Oro trophy – the Golden Tapir – by satirical television show Striscia La Notizia today.

He was asked if he will ‘eat the panettone’ – a common phrase meaning he might not be around to enjoy the traditional Christmas delicacy at the club party.

“There is a lot of work to be done, but if I don’t eat the panettone, it’ll be because I didn’t deserve to,” replied Conte.

However, when asked if the team was working against him, his mood became more irritable.

“That’s a stupid question.”

What the fuck is he talking like that. Yet again he keeps talking stupid shit. He got castrated by the Chinese on that famous Black Tuesday, from that moment on it was forbidden for him to talk bad about the club or even the team. And yet he manages to talk shit which he shouldn't be talking. Like this one now, how is that comment suppose to help anything? If anything, it only destabilizes the situation even more.

He should have been fired after the Europa League final. I remember many of us wanted his head following the horror show against Sevilla. It looks like we were right, and we have now wasted precious months of work by keeping this cocksucker in the club.
