Severe weaknesses yet you wrote out this entire wall of text and couldn’t point to one specific example of them.. every goalkeeper in the world makes mistakes, few goalkeepers have strengths that by in large nullify them.

He had the most shots saved, most passes and long passes in the Champions League.

Who is easily replacing that?

His weaknesses were commanding of the box and rushing out decisions. But both of those have largely disappeared lately, so the weaknesses were probably down to communication and getting to know his teammates.

🚨 Inter Milan would be willing to sell André Onana to Chelsea this summer for around €58M to help rebalance their books. 💰

As for Mike Maignan, he's currently not interested in a move to Chelsea. ❌

If that's the case, then 78M should be the bare minimum to "balance the books" and have 20M to spend. I know in reality it only be 10M, but come on. Still wouldn't sell though.

I already said considering we have Hakan and Asllani for the DLP role, Brozović if sold for enough money could maybe bring us SMS? Kamada will be also free in 17 days and he could play in Mhki's role.

I'm tired of repeating myself, but - I'd get rid of Džeko, Correa, Gosens, Dumfries, Brozović and not pay for another Lukaku loan (but I'm okay with Brozo staying if it's possible)... so that we can get Kamada, SMS, Pavard, Augusto, Firmino and maybe also give Mulattieri as 4th choice spot. I'm just not sure who I would also go for in attack. On one hand SMS can play as a makeshift SS if needed.

While if Barella is sold, I'd bring Frattesi. Not as good, but can get there if we give him the time.
Agree most except for Barella, Brozovic > SMS but I am still good selling Brozovic first, not that I underrate him, but the change in style of playing or the substitution is less detrimental to the chances of us winning against a strong opponent, especially if we can have a more reliable striker than Dzeko.

Onana let us play with an extra player when we have the ball, but I will still sell him before Barella, cause if you pair Barella up with a smarter RWB, with the money selling Onana that effect we get would be quite immense; not to mention losing Barella is like losing a huge chunk of our mobility that has intelligence and skills in it. (That mobility is like an extra man, just picture G5 in Barella's spot) [Easy way to picture is Barella with Handa, or Onana with G5]

I also understand that Brozo has been here longer, and is more integrated than Onana, especially he is our midfield core, but we were able to function without him for awhile and put Barca to Europa during that.

Still very pathetic of us talking about who we need to sell after reaching to the CL final.

Imagine watching the final, let alone the entire season and believing that sacrificing Onana for Lukaku is a good idea...

Upon further reflection; betcha Stevie will ok the deal, along with a really nice loan deal for Lukaku. Books partially balanced and gets his "guy" back. In his mind it's a double win!

BREAKING:
Both Romano and Pedulla reporting that Inzaghi is against the sale of Onana, but made it known if the sale is inevitable, he would like Strakosha as replacement.

I'm just assuming that means Handanovic would stay if Onana leaves.
Strakosha is bench material.

It that's true we should ban Inzaghi from suggestion because obviously he doesn't know anyone outside Lazio

And Lazio has a long record of robbing us, relating to big transfers.

my guy you want to replace brozo with Hakan/Asllani? SMS yeah, but still id rather keep brozo. People underrate him (including me when he pisses me off).

And if you sub Barella with Frattessi idk what to tell you.. frattesi is 23, barella 26 btw..
It's not that I WANT TO replace, I'm just looking at the bigger picture. If we want to stay competitive, WE WILL HAVE TO sell some of our starters and invest that money, we can't wait for all our players to end their career here. Not while being so broke, we will have to sell somebody first.

Last summer it's a shame we didn't take Dybala, because we would at least own 2 good strikers instead of just one. FOR FOUR SPOTS!!!!!

This is the reality right now. I'd sell Brozo before Barella, and I'd sell Barella before I would sell Onana. If Strakosha is brought instead of Onana, I don't have faith in our squad to make it to top4 again

Only sell Onana if it's for huge bucks, 85mil+. 58mil is absolutely not enough to save this team from slowly getting worse.

Done with this club if they sell him. Same with Bastoni-Barella.

Sell his ass. He's valuable, we can find a replacement and we have plenty of needs that need can be addressed with his fee. No Brainer for me.
