Just a footnote in all of this, chelsea apparently were interested in maignan, and they offered 80 mil which apparently milan declined, and now they will probably knock on our door to see if we flinch. I know 80 mil is a lot of money, but it will hurt even more if we lose him in this type of scenario, where they were sent to hell by milan.
Yet they will continue to dink us around with low ball offers until we cave in.

I wish he remains with us but judging from his words post UCL match, I think the guy was told that he is likely to be sold. If I remember correctly, he said something like "I'm happy to be here and I wish to continue here, but I'm open for whatever our management decides", these words scream so much of an eventual departure but let's see what happens.

Enzo Fernandez: €120m
Kai Havertz: €80m
Timo Werner: €50m
Ben Chilwell: €50m
Alvaro Morata: €60m
Wesley Fofana: €80m
Romelu Lukaku (lol): €115m
Kepa Arrizabalaga: €80m
Mykhaylo Mudryk: €100m
Marc Cucurella: €65m
Kalidou Koulibaly: €40m
Hakim Ziyech: €40m
Christian Pulisic: €64m
Benoit Badiashile: €30m
Noni Madueke: 35m
Malo Gusto: €30m

Of course Marotta would be the only fuckwit on planet earth to set a reasonable asking price of €60m for Onana, a player who is significantly better and far more proven than the vast majority of fucking LOSERS on this list.

When it comes to Chelsea, €75m should be the BARE MINIMUM asking price for Onana. A cent less than that amount would be a disgrace. 60m get the fuck out of here.

Actually I really hope his price will be 100 M because Chelsea and MU will have a bidding war. However, we cannot price Onana too exorbitantly else they will move to Maignan who costs 80-90 M. And seriously, Marotta should take a marketing course on selling if he only sells Onana at 60 M according to the rumour.

Is onana better than jc, toldo, handanovic?

Onana is better than all of them in their first season lol. Let's be real here, the bar is set extremely high with these names and it will be very hard to see Onana give us 10+ years of great service or win a treble. But in term of raw talent and initial impression, Onana is in no way inferior to these guys.

Isn't that stiff Kepa listed at 80M? They have their goalkeeper, live with it. You have pay for your mistakes 85-90M, and we'll think about it. Inter got other needs that need more immediate attention. That's the way it is when your in the Champions League.

Selling Onana after only one season is a crime against humanity. Sell the club and not Onana
Agree, but if there are no investor out there willing to buy the club from Zhang plus pay-off our debt also dare to face a political problem in milano regarding building a stadium (if there are, I might have to say that would be new owner is an Interista), I have to accept that Inter is a selling club until the financial problems is solved.
Onana for 80m plus koulibaly is good enough for me

Did you make some of those up? Haha did they even send some of those guys to the bench?

Actually it depends on the market and suitors. Only Chelsea are interested, and their primary target is Maigan for some reason. Onana is like a back up, because they know he will be cheaper. There is no way to sell him for 75mln, because nobody is willing to pay that.

When it comes to Onana people focus entirely on the position and underestimate how rare his characteristics are. Onana isn't just a GK for Inter. He's more like a ball playing CB or a second regista. He has a huge impact in our game. It should already be a sign that out of all Inter players Guardiola chose Onana to praise. Not Lautaro. Not Barella. Not even Bastoni. Onana. That's how important he is to our game.

Could we replace his shot stopping ability? Quite possibly. But could you replace his ability with ball on his feet? Next to impossible. It's very rare to fnd GKs who are so good with ball on the feet. Probably the most rare kind of player in the sport.

This post hits it on the point. Onana made the first team on the accounts of his showstopping ability, but he should stay here on the account of his ball playing ability. Obviously late into a losing final the GKnwill always come out more but he was literally a ball playing CB for us.

I hope we really seriously consider before accepting any offer for him. He's one of the absolute last players I would want to leave this team. Perhaps the very last.

We already have bad memories of Hakimi. Buy him only for one season, let see if we can enjoy Onana next season.

I just let you know we are Inter, financially fucked. Except huge Italian player like Barella and Bastoni. Marotta Will sacrifice any Players for Suning debt.

Onana Will give us very huge capital gain. Zhang Will happy.

Yeah, Onana's biggest add is really this deepest-lying playmaker role. He's really the 11th player which properly used can be a way to nullify the pressing, like we've tried to do and succeeded in that pretty well (at the highest level).

Shotstopping abilities are of course the main thing but there are other GKs who can do that, like Vicario (he's great, maybe the best in Italy), but he sucks with the ball on his feet.

So selling Onana means effectively waiving the last line of playmaker role from our GK. That's a decision you can make, but IMO in today's modern football, you should demand a premium from the buyer for acquiring that ability.

Only applies with Julio Cesar.
Both Toldo and Handanovic were elite level when they arrived. Onana wasn't even convincing enough to dethrone an out of shape Handanovic from the get go.

But he's grown on the team and the defense got kind of used to his style. Would be a shame to see him gone after 1 season, but if we get Chelsea to throw 80m, sure. Thanks and goodbye.

If our idea is to get Chalobah, Lukaku and Koulibaly, then for all that's holy in this world, just keep Onana...
