I don't mind Cavani because even if we sign Balogun, for example, we still need another striker. All we'll have is Lautaro, Thuram and Balogun. We need a 4th forward who's also old and experienced (similar to Dzeko). I guess he's soon to be free of contract so no 20m BS like Morata. He'll also sign a short contract while Morata, on the other hand, we'll be stuck with him for many years.

And yes, I'm completely ignoring Correa's existence.

Correa fucks up any kind of cavani, morata type of signing for me. If it wasn't for him then sure he is a dead corpse anyways, but we pretty much have to hit jackpot with our next striker given that correa is probably staying and cavani, moratas of this world ain't it.

He seems to play for the contract, and could very well be frozen out for 1 year at PSG. It’s a shame, I remember seeing him at the WC in 2018 and blown away on how much talent he has.

Haalland seems to play for the love of football.
