Morata is an intelligent player that can find space in attack and that is probably his main quality. He has flashes of brilliance but he is also severely inconsistent and does not really make use of his physique as he is not aggressive at all ( he is 1.90 ). He is a good support striker that can create and he is a pretty hard worker but he never really stood out. He was never really anything more than a backup striker, think Julio Cruz.
Can you really say he is a bad player ? No. Can you say he is a good player ? Debatable, most would say he is an ok player which is probably unfair since he can definitely contribute to the attack.
To me he seems an all around fragile player (mentally and physically) with great intelligence and technique. Sounds familiar ?
You're hinting they are similar with Lukaku in character? That's interesting.

I think Morata is a more humble badge-kisser than Lukaku, that won't bring trouble on and off the pitch. Lukaku is the superior player on his day on the other hand.

Cruz >> Morata, though, you can't disrespeki Julio like that.

Nope, he does not have a shit character he seems a more quiet type. His character resembles Correa, lack of strength and aggression included.

Alvaro Morata Wants Inter Milan – Meeting Today

The Gazzetta underlines that much of the mystery about Morata’s situation concerns the release clause in his deal with Atletico.

Reports on the matter have conflicted somewhat. There is, by all account, a release clause worth €21 million in the 30-year-old’s current deal.

However, some reports have suggested that the clause could drop to €12 million. This would come after the player signs a new contract with the Spanish giants.

In any event, Inter want to clarify the matter.

Then, the Nerazzurri are ready to make their first formal offer to Atletico.

As far as the player is concerned, the Gazzetta report that Morata would be happy to accept a move to Inter.

?

It's not even August and Onana is only going to be sold today/tomorrow, which was what the club waited for.

I'd rather see Inter doesn't panic and really gets the right pieces, even it's at the end of the summer transfer window. Just make it right.

I am sure Cuadrado already calling Morata to join Inter today. Haha. Morata and Cuadrado are Marotta ex employee, sure they will coming.

I know that Udinese want 30mln for Beto, but Arsenal also wanted 58mln for Balogun at the beginning. I really believe that we can close the deal for 25mln, and around 2.5mln salary. Beto is still under the GDC as well. Then if we can get Morata for like 15mln and 4.5mln salary on a short contract, I will be satisfied. Not the best attack in the world, but for me Thuram, Morata, Beto >>> Lukaka, Dzeko's copse and Diarrhea.

We must sell Correa first, but base Inzaghi interview, he want Correa stay. Beto or Nzola are our dream 4th striker. In reality we Will get Bonazzoli.

I think we should relax and take Cuntrado as a temporary solution for a year, next year there will be a lot of cool right backs available.

Morata is good IF we get Balogun and then Morata replaces Correa.

But we need one more BIG fella. 1.75cm guys are not gonna do it in Serie A imo. Need a bully!!

Edit. We needBalogun and one Big dude.

Thuram is 192cm? He is higher than me, and I'm considered a big fella for football.

Why is Atletico looking to sell Morata? Who are they planning to partner with Griezmann? I still think we should throw in a loan bid for Joao Felix.

Considering the amount of times this Inter team punted or played the long ball to Lukaku or Dzeko in their buildup play, I’m left scratching my head wondering how Morata would fill that target man position.

Scamacca for 30£M > Morata for 20£M.

I'd rather forgive Lukaku if it means not getting Scamacca for that amount.
