I'd rather forgive Lukaku if it means not getting Scamacca for that amount.

Well this is how the team plays. For the past 4 seasons, apart from maybe a few months, they relied on a big man.

Dzeko and Lukaku played and often started or finished games due to their ability to play that target man role.

Scamacca may not score 20 goals but he would at least fulfill that role. But obviously at this point unsure how effectively.

We still had good matches when we didn’t play with a target man. The match away at Liverpool comes to mind. Sanchez got a red card unfortunately but we played well and still won.

I know that Udinese want 30mln for Beto, but Arsenal also wanted 58mln for Balogun at the beginning. I really believe that we can close the deal for 25mln, and around 2.5mln salary. Beto is still under the GDC as well. Then if we can get Morata for like 15mln and 4.5mln salary on a short contract, I will be satisfied. Not the best attack in the world, but for me Thuram, Morata, Beto >>> Lukaka, Dzeko's copse and Diarrhea.

Just because he is a tall striker doesn't mean he can do the job Lukaku or even Dzeko did, there is difference in classes here. We should've unironically keep Pinamonti if that meant not paying 45m€ for Scamacca.

Why is Atletico looking to sell Morata? Who are they planning to partner with Griezmann? I still think we should throw in a loan bid for Joao Felix.

It would be good if we can get Joao Felix on loan to replace Correa. LM-Thuram-Morata-JF would be a solid attackline imo. They might go after Vlahovic or Balogun to replace Morata. Who knows, maybe Icardi as well if he hasn't moved back to Turkey yet.

Hojlund is good, but I'm not sure he'll be great. For that money I expect a finished product, not a player that will probably need another year until he becomes a big factor in their attack. Let them have him.
