Gudmundsson is now third in the Capocannoniere standings, playing for a solid if unspectacular 12-placed Genoa, most of the time as a second striker/playmaker hybrid. Breakout player of the season for me.

The realist in me tells me that there's no room with Arna on for another year and Correa coming back, but if there's a chance...

He said a few days ago that EPL is his dream destination.

Don't have one.
I’m sure this has been suggested before, but if Berardi hadn’t absolutely mashed his achilles then picking him to replace Sanchez would have been great.
Berardi is too much of a winger to successfully play as forward imo. His bread and butter is cutting inside or outside and crossing, all heavily dependent on him playing on the side. Players like thuram who imo successfully made that switch are the rare breed, you really have to be talented fuck and thuram obviously is, although he still has some flaws which are well masked in the current system.

Yep, he was my first choice until he said he would basically suck cock for premier league. After that, I was immediately on zirkzee train.

And that shit isn't irrelevant either, we saw with fratessi last year how much the will of a player plays a part in the transfer process.

If we can afford him, let's do it.

So where is the interview of this thing? Or have you guys just seen the quote "my dream has always been to play in EPL"?

What if he gave that interview to a Scandinavia media (EPL the most followed league in all Nordic countries) or directly to British media?

Anyway IMO that's same level of importance as when players have their favourite clubs and whether they sign for those clubs or not. In most cases that doesn't mean jack shit.

In this case we have no proof he actually prefers EPL clubs over let's say Inter. Talk is just talk and that is cheap, specially in some interviews, except if you are Lukaku.

Thuram was successful because he was never a true winger to begin with, so he isn’t really the rare breed you make him into.

Call me a maniac all you want but I’d go all-in on Mason Greenwood and sign him to a long-term deal

Kid is a star, absolutely clinical, and has too flight experience. I can’t see any other big team willing to sign him and his value is at an all-time low

He is very young, cleared of his charges and legal troubles. I think it’s worth a shot. He can be the main striker with Lautaro as the SS
Looking back at this now and I'm convinced we would have been 10x better off signing him rather than both Sanchez and Arna

Prob would still be in Coppa Italia and CL if we have a proper clinical striker

I find it thoroughly distasteful that anyone would want to have Mason Greenwood at Inter and I'm just glad that the club itself would run a mile from him. It would just be horrible for its image to be associated with someone like that. A big factor behind Inter's current successful spell is that they've ruthlessly and effectively ditched individuals with baggage in favour of calm and serious professionals.

#Inter have seemed to pull out of the race for Joshua Zirkzee. The forward could cost beyond €50 + bonuses and #Inter has other targets. Juventus, AC Milan and Arsenal all are still fighting for the signature of the 22-year-old.

I really hate posts like this. It’s very cringy whether its on here or any other social media platform. We get it you moral queen.

People need to stop pretending they’re saints that never make any mistakes. The guy is still with the woman he beat up, has a child with her and for all we know he's a better man after that incident and learned. He was a teenager and he made a mistake. People can make mistakes and they can grow and learn.

Let me make it clear:
I would not mind mason greenwood here at all. Not one fiber in my body would. Heres an opportunity for more morale queens and saints to fish for likes.

Calling other people "morale queens" because they don't want someone who obviously beat the shit out of their girlfriends/wives.

What an absolute "morale jackass".

Zanetti comment about zirkzee: Zirkzee? We are talking about a great player, young, talented and physically strong. He would be useful to any team fighting for important goals. Let's see if this opportunity presents itself, maybe we could give it a little thought. He, Thuram and Lautaro would be three strong and very young attackers.

Well, there is hope I guess, plus it doesn't seem like their plan is to sell thuram to get to him.
