Lazio so far looks like they could surprise again.
...so that they can get to CL. They should give their euro spots to teams who are actually willing to actually compete there.Lazio will drop out of CL (and EL) anyway and then they will finish above us again.
That issue is not just about us not having the money to compete with those teams, it also comes from us being slow, uncreative and prefering the safe experienced options instead of being more daring. This will burn down opportunities when they arise. We tend to hesitate when a talented youngster is at our reach and we lose the chance. It's how things stand atm i'm afraid. Liverpool splashing 120 mln on Caicedo, Bayern spending 120 mln on Kane and Madrid speding 100 mln on Bellingham. If you want to sign a topplayer or toptalent you must pay 80 mln tops. We can't compete anymore. The whole Serie A can't.
Imo we must be the guys selling those players for 80 mln tops. Sadly we only have 3 players in our squad who represent such value. And selling one of them would probably mean no CL money. That will cost us 50 mln too. We are in a fucked postion financial wise. We must qualify for the CL, so we need players who are ready now. But we also must create value by develop young talents. The top talents won't come for our budget. Even the older topplayers prefer to go to SA recently. What's left are the Taremi's and Arnautovic's from this world. And upcoming Serie A talents like Samardzic or Italians like Frattesi. At least atm.
Well yeah, that happens. Also poor Atalanta that has a great season and then has to pick themselves up for the next 2 seasons....so that they can get to CL. They should give their euro spots to teams who are actually willing to actually compete there.
Can't respect that club at all, what a fucking shithousery, Sarri the moaner fits perfectly there.

I'm up for Martial, but he has a shitty, disinterested disposition. Also injuries. Would Man U accept a loan + option? I doubt very much.
40m, 30m, 30m, respectively.how much worth are Zapata, Lapadula and Petagna?
That's party true imo. I would have like us to go for Alvarez too. BUT; he was available 1,5 ago. At that moment we already had Correa, Alexis Lautaro and Dzeko. He costed 20 million in January. We had to spend 20 million, while we didn't got him imideately. Firstly we didn't have that money at that time. He is more of an ss in the system Limone uses. We already had Correa, Alexis and Lautaro for that position. That issue is not just about us not having the money to compete with those teams, it also comes from us being slow, uncreative and prefering the safe experienced options instead of being more daring. This will burn down opportunities when they arise. We tend to hesitate when a talented youngster is at our reach and we lose the chance.
For example Julian Alvarez was available for 20-25m 2 years ago. We preferred to go for other (ready) options and you know the rest of story. Now we have the same case with Orban and Taremi/Arnautovic and I expect the same scenario happening again.
When you can't financially compete with many clubs out there, you need to be opportunist. But we're neither rich nor opportunist and that acts as a double blow on us.
We can't pay his transferfee nor his salary.martial's contract is just one year left in 2024 (and one year additional option if Manu trigger)
With our limited funds we must take a good look at every penny we spend. IMO it's not that strange we set ourself a strict maximum we would like to spend for every single player. It's not that strange we wouldn't want to pay 20 mln for Arnautovic, or 50 mln for Balogun if they aren't worth that amount. We don't want to overpay. Looking at Sommers transfersaga we are really penny picking on every euro spend. This dude has a point, our budget is constantly shifting depending on a striker we are trying to get, almost like we are sabotaging ourselves, which is inexcusable this late in the mercato. It was well over a month ago the whole lukaku fiasco happened, we had more than enough time to figure out what we want, and yet we look like all of that happened just yesterday.
Martial is 15M Arnautovic is 20M. Inter are ready to 20M overpay for Arnautovic, so why should Inter say no to pay Martial whose is cheaper? We can't pay his transferfee nor his salary.
