I am against new coach until bigger issues are solved.

1. Financially Inter belongs in a group with average balkan clubs.

2. On paper - player wise, same - average balkan clubs.

3. Mentality wise, Inter belongs in the second division of the Madagascar football clubs.

Funny the danish newsmedia would name Laudrup as a serious candidate if Strama got sacked tomorrow. In my mind he could be an option but he will be behind Simeone, Blanc and Spaletti.

If Laudrup wants to. We should go instantly. And give him control.

That guy has vision. Excellent trainer.

I don't know much about Pellegrini other than he coached Real Merda before Mourinho and Villareal.

Bielsa might have balls, but his style can backfire...

Prandelli wouldn't drop the National Team job 3 months before the confederation cup and almost a year before the World Cup.

Spalletti...*shrug*.

Prandelli has already stated missing coaching a club full time... And we've already showed interest in him.

Cholo would be great, I'm not sure about him giving youth a chance though... Who has he launched except from Oueslati? Anyways I love his idea of football, he once said something like "Possession football is the dumbest thing ever created". :D

Koke broke into the first team under him, and is getting better and better. He also slowly introduces Oliver Torres into the first team. He also gave few other youngesters a chance for a few times.

Mazzarri has shown no indication he'll be signing a new contract with Napoli. That alone worries me as Interista.

I myself like Blanc. Have wanted him for awhile tbh. People who are opposed to him shouldn't judge him by the France job. He inherited a terrible squad with a terrible mentality from the retard Domenech.

I also wouldn't be opposed to Spalletti or Pellegrini. Both would be tough to get though. Zenit would demand a steep price for the former and as far as I know Spalletti has said several times he's happy in Russia. Pellegrini might be easier due to Malaga's financial problems as said. If he could convince Isco to join him, even better :troll:

I don't think Simeone is at all realistic. Unless Atletico's earlier rumored financial issues force them to sell off Falcao and co. then I don't see Simeone leaving after getting them into CL just to come here and take over a EL squad. Not to mention we'd have to pay who knows how much to get him out of his new contract.

I heart Spalletti, and feel like he's a more realistic target now than he was a year or 2 ago. I think he'd be frustrated with our current squad, and we'd need to be patient with him as we overhauled our squad full of crappy CM's and fullbacks. No matter who's available Spalletti will always be my favorite.

Objectively, Pellegrini would probably be my top choice, and if Malaga are in as bad a shape as some have said, could be a realistic target as well.

I liked Blanc's Bordeaux teams from what I saw of them, and I would not be completely against him either.

I don't particularly like Mazzarri.

I like Bielsa, but feel there's too high a chance that he could be an unmitigated disaster here.

Lucescu? I really have no idea. I think he's done a wonderful job at Shakhtar, but have no idea how that would translate over.

Fuck Mihajlovic.

Great post.

Blanc's Bordeaux was pretty good but I always have slight reservations about those one year wonder Ligue 1 champions. Blanc did absolutely nothing since and I don't believe he has a huge coaching potential.

Absolutely agree about Spalletti and Pellegrini part. I have never understood why Spale isn't topping our wish list since he is the guy who can make a team play sexy football and that's apparently what Moratti wants. Serie A experience, relatively young. A perfect match.

Agree about Bielsa and Lucescu. Bielsa is a pretty hard core guy and there is no way his character would work in a chaotic club like Inter and Lucescu did some great things with SD but they are realistically not a top team and he is no spring chicken.

Pellegrini can leave Malaga after this season, Malaga is banned for European competitions for 3-4 years, and they have some financial issues too, so I highly doubt the Chilean would like to stay there for longer period of time.

Simeone, Montella, Pellegrini, Spalletti- amazing!
Blanc, Lucescu, Bielsa - I'm ok with that.
Mihajlovic, Mazzari, Zenga - meh

This pretty much sums up my feelings. However, I probably would lean towards the coach who is best at harnessing youth since it sounds like we're getting a multitude of younger players next season, and I don't know enough about this bunch to make any judgement on that

I went to Wikipedia and did some research about Laurent Blanc's time at Bordeaux it said that he had a 60% win percentage in 150 matches.

Here is what he achieved:

2007-08 2nd, 4 points behind Lyon. Knocked out of the Last 32 of the UEFA Cup by Anderlecht

2008-09 Champions 3 points clear of Marsille. Knocked out of the Champions League in a Group with Roma and Chelsea finishing 3rd. Knocked out in the round of 32 by Galatasaray in the round of 32.

2009-10 6th, didn't qualify for a European competition. Quilifyed with an unbeaten record in a group with Bayern and Juve. Advanced past Olypiacos in the last 16. Knocked out by Lyon in the quater finals 3-2 on aggregate.

I had nothing to so I decided on a Wiki search.

I think he's a good coach, but I have my doubts about whether he speaks any Italian which I think would hold a squad like ours back. Plus while languages like Spanish and Portuguese are similar, German isn't.
