According to mediaset/studio sport we have reached an agreement with Sampdoria to pay the 6 million for cassano to real madrid at the end of the season but with the understanding that cassano stays another season on loan at samp but we have the option to recall him during the winter transfer market of 2008/2009.

i think its a good idea to reserve him for 2009-2010 season, i'am serious, one of the 2 +30 strikers will go for sure for that time, and even if we have balotelli, we know mancini likes cassano and he is a talented striker.

I think Suazo might go after this season. Not that I wont it, just a feeling.

I believe in Adri, so him, + Ibra, Cruz, Crespo and Mario in that case would be just fine.

But then again if he doesn't succeed, it will be 6m in the trash can. Seeing as some here doubt the decision to use 10m on a proven Jimenez (he will be proven if we buy him), I don't get why we should get that guy for 6m, when it might not pay off!

I say let Cassano be until he has proven his former level.

Adriano won't be back. Unless of course, he becomes a total juggernaut at Sao Paulo.

Cassano would be an interesting choice. He's been playing better for Samp though he's still seriously unbalanced mentally. By the time 09/10 season rolls around, Cruz and Crespo will probably be gone leaving us with just Ibra and Suazo.... most likely.

How old is Cassano?

I thought he had some character issues and need some attitude-adjustments in the past. Has he grown yet?

He's good though. And as much as I love Cruz, he's not that young anymore. Cassano-Ibra will be nice. I'm not sure about Suazo staying either, don't know why.

I share your Suazo worries. It might be due to the farce during the summer 2007 transfer window. I think it might be too early to tell if Cassano will work or not. He's got half a season left at Sampdoria to prove his worth. I doubt that Adriano will come back.
