Cruz is less agile then both probably, but he is doing great with Ibra.
Dinho is for Figo position. What it has to do with strikers anyway ?
Can Figo play in attack? No.
Can Dinho play in attack? No. He is not a striker, nor forward. He was once, but not anymore.
Sure he is more of an offensive player, but that doesn't mean right away that he is a striker. Figo is more of an offensive player and I don't consider him a midfielder. For a midfielder you must be able to defend at some extend. Neighter Dinho, nor Figo can do it effectivly. Dinho can't play instead of Ibrahimovic or Cruz, or any striker else, as his characteristics are best for trequarterista position. It's the same, as people would like to play Ibra behind the strikers, sure he could. But it's like loosing 50% of his abbilities in that position. The same would ho with Dinho.
If he comes, he will come to fill the Figo shoes, so I don't see why we should be good in the strikers department. It has nothing to do with it. If Adriano will leave, Dinho coming will solve only one issue - the trequarterista position, not both of them.
Inter plot Aguero megabidWednesday 23 January, 2008Inter are eyeing Argentine striking starlet Sergio Aguero and there are rumours that Massimo Moratti is preparing a huge bid.
Moratti has hinted that the Italian champions will add another superstar to the ranks in the summer as the Nerazzurri look to create a dynasty.
There have been suggestions that Ronaldinho will be the new man, but Milan still seem to be in pole position for the Brazilian, prompting the Inter chief to look elsewhere.
Aguero is one of La Liga’s brightest young stars and has already become a key component in the Atletico Madrid side.
At the age of 19, FIFA’s Young Player of the Year for 2007 is already an Argentine international and one of Europe’s hottest properties.
Reports suggest that Moratti is lining up a £20m offer to secure Aguero’s signature in the summer and that Coach Roberto Mancini has his heart set on working with the youngest player ever to debut in Argentina’s Primera Liga.
While Atletico have made it clear that they have no intention of parting with such a prized asset, they would be making an £8m profit, having paid Independiente just £12m in May 2006.
Much depends on whether fourth-placed Atletico can secure Champions League football, as Aguero will be looking to take part in Europe’s showpiece tournament next term.
