England deserved shit. Very chaotic team. Lucky for them, Colombia played football for only 10 minutes when they scored, otherwise were even more chaotic.

I don't think England can beat Croatia or even Russia. They will beat Sweden in the same way the won against Colombia.

based on what you said it? I also was thinking that Croatia is one of the best teams in this tournament but after the Danimarc game i dont see them going to the final... England has more experience

Don't think England are more experienced than Croatia. They have Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic who all played at highest level (CL latter stages and world cups) for years. England don't have players like that.

Also for england players, most of them are playing in world cup for the first time and many of them played in CL for just a season or 2.

What experience? :D Croatian team is way more experienced than English one. Their core is same for ages and they are always present on big stages, both in club and national team.

I mean international experience... stones at City, Sterling, Harry Kane.. their playing in all in EPL, not in Ukraine or bundesliga.. of course some of them are playing in La Liga or Serie A but as team they dont show this. Croatia was always like Belgium Iceland.. they are good but not good enough to play with the big countrys of football.

Players like Stones don't have much experience. Yes they play in PL but when it comes to top competitions, he lacks experience. Same with players like Trippier, Maguire, Henderson, Alli, Lingard, Pickford,

Most of the Croatian first 11 plays in La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, French league which all are good leagues except 1 or 2.

Think Croatia will win the game if both plays against each other as they have better midfield and game management skills.

Interesting, we are judging world cup winning probability based on the number of EPL/La Liga/Serie A players in squad.

Very interesting indeed.

We have some really smart debate going on here, keep going.

No, it's discussion about players experience at top level.

I'm sure Sweden will beat England. They may play ugly football, but it's effective as hell. Apart from the goals Germany scored against them, they haven't conceded a single time! England on the other hand couldn't score goals from open play if their lives depended on it. Sweden will fend them off and find their way to score a trollish goal, maybe even a beautiful one like Toivonen vs Germany, moving on to the semis... I'm sure of it.

And I like it, because the thrill of a small team like them going so far into the tournament makes up for the lack of enjoyment in their football itself. They might even make it to the final... ;)

I am very happy how Inter players play for their country.

Miranda - Silva is best partnership CB alongside Uruguay.

Brozovic - Rakitic - Modric is very powerful.

Vecino - Bentancur good partnership in uruguay.

For me, this has been the most enjoyable World Cup since '06. Obviously '06 will never be beaten for me due to personal reasons, but this tournament has been pure entertainment.

That's true, but it's also true that 2010 and 2014 were below average. I'd say so far this tournament is above average. The fact that there's disparity in the road to the final which resembles the NBA conferences from the late 2000s is not a plus for this tournament.

I remember players complaining in 2010 about the pitches and the ball that bounced too much.

Is this the first World Cup semi-finals that doesn't have at least one of Brazil, Germany or Italy.

I read something a few minutes ago that I don't remember fully but I think you have to switch Italy with Argentina.
