I'm only fluent in English (speaking/writing/reading). I can read some Spanish, and read very basic French, but that's it. Ask me to write or speak either of those though and I would be very poor at it if I could do it at all.
Wish I could have learned another language to the point of fluency, but they say if you don't learn it when you're a kid, it just gets harder when you're older. And since it's not necessarily compulsory to take a foreign language course in school here, unless your parents spoke a foreign language and taught it to you, or you spent a great deal of time in a foreign country when you were growing up, it's very hard to become fluent in a second language as an American.
