He is 20 and even though he is young he should be able to properly weight a pass to a stationary player 10 yards away.

I actually think he is a decent prospect despite my criticism of him. He is pretty fast, has good positional play and can read the game pretty well. Dont know if it was down to Esteban coaching him on the field but he looked comfortable when the team did not have possession.

This guy is the king of the lateral pass. Everytime he gets the ball he turns and slides it across the pitch. The one or two times he trid to make a pass forward it was either too short or got intercepted.

Heh, I was thinking that too. He made like 9 lateral passes in a row before going forward lol

I wasn't a big fan of this signing only because Bolzoni plays the same position (DM) and according to people who have seen him, is pretty fackin good at it. Just seems like a waste buying when we just as easily could've promoted Bolzoni.

Him playing lateral passes is absolutely meaningless; game was essentially over, and I'm sure that Mancini told him to do just that, play the ball around. It's the only sensible thing to do, we don't want to tire ourselves before very important CL clash in three days time.

I haven't seem anything from him yet, good or bad. Mancini picks him to our squad and gives him minutes, that means he believes this boy has potential. I might be the only one, but I believe in his judgement.

at least he got some play time with big teams, it will add up to his experience. From the amount of playing time and matches, I think Inter is realli beliving in this guy

Pele plays more attacking football though from what I understand, Bolzoni to me is too defensive in his game

No from what I have seen it's the other way around.
Even think about it, from what I understand, Pele isn't his name, its his nickname w=since when he was in Portugal and since then they have been talking about his good dribbling skills and good football
Bolzoni from all the matches I saw of him, he is definetely more defensive to me

He also had the assist to the goal. He slid tackled a guy to make it fall right to the scorer.

This just proves that he is more of an attacking midfielder than a defensive one,
he is a Vieira (good -albeit a much better in my mind in the future- offense and defense) but certainly not a Dacourt (Only defense)

With Deki out I expect Pele and Bolzoni to get some more chances.

It's sad to see Pele getting more chances than Bolzoni (not sure about that), eventhough IMO Bolzoni played alot more with the team and was realy good during the summer.

Pele won't even be considered from Inter's youth system in the future, and to be honest, I haven't seen anything special about him (during the games only not trainings).

I hope he becomes a good player for us, because otherwise, we'll just waste minutes and chances that could be given to Bolzoni and other youngsters from our youth system (to help us with the new UEFA rules in the future).

Thankfully, Pele isn't in the CL list, so when we qualify next game, we can give Bolzoni and the others 2 full CL games.
