Quite happy to see a 3-4-3 used. It's my preferred 3 at the back formation by a mile because it uses 2 wingers and I tend to still see more benefit on double players on the wings.

It might even be my preferred overall formation (Belgian bias, but we have so many good players for it). Although all depends on how Conte lets it play out. He's known for more static systems and in a 3-4-3 you generally want at least one of the AMR and AML to be as expressive as possible, not static.

So both us and Verona have the same formation. I assume Perisic will be more defensively oriented to help the MF, but when hitting the counter that might be very useful. Lautaro slightly below Lukaku is what we already used to watch. I hope this won't turn out as another Christmas downfall like past few seasons. Forza
