The concern isn't unwarranted considering the newspapers (GdS in particular) have been spot on 99% of the time with Conte's lineups and formations. That's how predictable and stubborn he's been.

Even when he pulls some unexpected bullshit out his ass the papers get it right and give us fair warning. Everyone was like "what? Barella AM in a 3412? What the hell is SKY smoking, obviously that's not happening" ...but then it did.

Personally i don't have an issue with giving a try to a 3-4-2-1. My issue is the right time to experiment with the formation was at the home game against Spezia. It's too risky to do it in an away game against a really good team.

honestly i think that some experiments can be done but such experiments must have sense...

Lautaro is a pure striker, Perisic is a left winger. I really don't see very well those two behind Lukaku, mainly Lautaro is clearly out of context in that role!
