Or the Inter-Villarreal game from 2006.Or how twice we took the lead against Valencia the next year and twice went into our shell and lost the lead.I want to see Conte take the initiative and not start defending the moment we score a goal.Yet that's exactly what we have been doing lately [atleast since the Fiorentina game followed by Atalanta,Lecce,Cagliari] and so I do sense a repeat of those dreaded games from yesteryear against Getafe and if not now then later on in this tournament.

Getafe are incredible to watch, it's peak shithousery but it's so effective. When I saw them last year they beat Mallorca 4-2 and then drew 3-3 at the Mestalla, and in both games the ball was only in play for around 50 minutes.

Man Utd with the easiest draw as LASK is the only team I've never even heard of.

They are better team than Red Bull Salzburg this season in Austria.


I see people here are still underestimating teams who are not historic giants of European football.Just to remind you that club name is not the one who is playing and that Inter can easily be knocked down by few of this opponents left.But yeah,we will then find some excuses that EL is not so important when reality is that we are not clear favourites to win this competition at all even if we are playing with full strenght.

Also,while we are calling trash this "small" teams left in the competitions be sure that fans of Barcelona,Real,City and others are also calling Inter trash while we are playing in the CL last two season.Do you like that?Cause we are trash to them due to our incompetence in their eyes just like this "small" teams are trash to us.

We won the Uefa Cup in 1998.

We then reached the semi-finals of the 2001-02 Uefa Cup under Hector Cuper.We lost 0-1 to eventual champions Feyenoord in the 1st leg at San Siro and then found ourselves 2-0 down at Rotterdam before a late charge saw us make it 2-2 but sadly we couldn't get the winner.

In 2003-04 we reached the Uefa Cup q/f under Zaccherroni and were eliminated by finalists Olympique Marseille.We had dropped down into the Uefa Cup from the UCL.

With regards the EL in this current form we have never progressed past the Round of 16.

I remember Drogba from his En Evant Guingamp days.He was party pooper against Lyon in a game where they were supposed to celebrate winning the title at home and this guy was ripping them apart.That Lyon team had Juninho,Dhorasoo,Govou etc.Lyon still celebrated after the game but I was pretty impressed with Drogba as Guingamp ended up winning 0-3 away or something at the Stade Gerland.I was actually thinking back then this guy would be a great Vieri replacement or partner and we should go for him.

In that 2003-04 season Marseille got 2 new forwards - Drogba and Mido.And Drogba scored in the UCL against Jose Mourinho's Porto in the group stages and Mourinho brought Drogba to Chelsea the next season.Him and Carvalho were the best Chelsea deals made by Mourinho because I think they had bought Cech and Robben even before Mourinho arrived there.

SO any idea whats gonna happen with our home game against getafe? The getafe president said he wont come to milano and that his team rather takes a 3:0 loss for not showing than traveling to the center of this virus in europe.

I personally can kind of understand it and dont really care if we dont play at home since it would be empty anyways. As long as we find a place where getafe is comfortable to play and it s closer to us then to them i dont have a problem with it.
Best case they come to switzerland and i can stalk out our players in front of their hotel like the freaking creep i am.
