Yes, but there are chances that it's played without attendance.

PL teams and their easy draw tradition continues.

Seeing that graphic of the round of 16 draw has made for me so clear something I had completely missed previously. What a fucking bunch of trash. The collection of EL teams this season seems considerably more second-rate than usual.

Don’t get me wrong - we are Inter. And we have the ability to humiliate ourselves against any opponent. Any time, any place.

But maybe with the exception of Man U, who are themselves, an absolute joke, there’s not a single team there we should fear.

Wow. My desire to win this competition just went up tenfold after actually realizing who was left.

(My primary school teacher always said I was a “visual learner” :einstein:)

Getafe is a tough team to play against, full of LaLiga drama queens and counterattacking madness.

At least no Wolves.

Facing a Spanish team won't be easy. I don;t know nothing about Getafe.

Getafe sounds exactly like a team that would knock us out.

Alaves flashbacks all over the place.

Man Utd with the easiest draw as LASK is the only team I've never even heard of.

I was gonna comment, what the fuck is Getafe?!!!
Holly shit, they’re 5th in the standings, and only one point behind Atletico Madrid, for the 3rd spot.
This will not be easy I guess.

I would bet money we manage to get ourselves knocked out. Probably with a myopic 1-0 away loss, followed by a 2-1 home victory that seals our fate.

Ez.

7/8 goals to score in both games and zero to concede.

I think they've been one of the best defensive teams in Spaon for years now.

Fun fact about them (not sure if it still stands). Since Simeone took over Atletico, Getafe have never managed to score against them. This is in a period of about 8 years and 16 or so matches played.

Bordalas is one of the best managers in the country. They don't have any superstar players, the most talented one is a new player from this year who is a Barcelona reject. Great left winger/fullback.

They press high and extremely coordinated. Don’t listen to the people who say that Getafe is a “defensive team.” They aren’t. They are a shithouse team who presses high and fouls tactically. If they score, they will waste time — by crying after slight touches and fouling tactically every 2 minutes. Against us they had 30 fouls. They are a great team and all their players are very smart, especially the defenders. Before they score they will be positional and dangerous.
They have 8 goals scored more than Atletico in La Liga and are only 1 point lower on the table with an easier end of the season calendar than Atletico (so good chance they finish 3rd IMO). Angel/Deyv and Jaime up top are a great duo with technical ability and clinical finishing too. Damian Suarez and Nyom foul endlessly, although the former is a much better player. Their left side is very difficult to score from with Cucurella’s endless stamina (former Barca LB now plays LM) in front of a decent LB. The midfield pivot of Arambarri and Maksimovic can’t pass for shit but they are very intelligent and tactical.
If I had to guess who will win, it’s the team who scores the first goal. You are better but if Getafe scores first, you will get mentally frustrated and they will score again. If you score first, they won’t be able to win in an open game unless you gift them a goal.
